Getting real tired of seeing the analogy $ versus hours spent "entertained." I can buy a used $2 DVD and watch it a thousand times over, and can say that used DVDs are the better value. "Well what's the fun in that?" Well what's the fun in doing about fifteen story missions, and then relentlessly grinding. I knocked out the story missions in a day. Strikes and everything else not grinding, was done in less than a week. Are we really going to say a video game is worth $40 a week? We were lied to again, Taken King WAS NOT as big as vanilla destiny, it added basically nothing to the story, and it in a lot of people's minds created even more artificial playing time then the original. Yes I play this game, because I don't mind wasting my time, I have that luxury. Is it a good deal? No way.
Edit: if they could actually balance crucible, it would all be redeemed. But they won't. I seriously think activision DOES NOT want destiny to be balanced. It would cut into Call of Duty play time. I truly believe this.

TTK has like 30 different quests to do. 4 strikes on PS and a raid. New weapons, legendary and exotic. It's about the same amount of content to actually play as the base game. But don't let your blind hatred make you see differently.

It's not blind hatred. The game is fun for a few weeks. The gun play is great, the classic style of slaying countless enemies is fun. But it's unrewarding, and ultimately a waste of time. No one really gets a sense of completion from the game, because they make it impossible to "beat" for the sake of grinding.

This basically sums it up. So many people claim the game is not an mmo yet it follows world of Warcraft almost point for point. And anyone who has played an mmo will realize the game moves forward, old gear and content loses relevance, the point of end game content is to enjoy the ride and be slightly more prepared for the next release. And to all the people who cry about destinys cost go play WoW. $15 a month and many periods of no new content for over a year. So $180 a year for the privilege to keep up the grind

You seem to be looking at it the wrong way. You say we were lied to like many others. But I ask you to find one single time where Bungie promised any content. A trailer and a few developers discussing the trailer is conceptual. Not proof of content, but proof of concept.

It's going to be impossible to find for me now but I distinctly remember bungie saying that it would be as big as vanilla destiny. One new area? And a re skinned mission on Mars/Phobos? The fact of the matter is, if you love grinding for the sake of grinding, it's worth $40. Most gamers want a sense of completion, and the way the game is set up it is nigh impossible. Because they want you to keep playing without adding any content. They added micro transactions to fund the Live team. And they gave us masks. Lol. That was it. Masks. That are useless. And the missions were yet again the same thing over and over.
