After almost two months of the Taken King dlc being released, do you think it's really worth $40? State your reasons below!
At first, I thought it was but now I'm starting to think otherwise. I honestly think it's worth $30 max.

작성자: KitsuneSonow 11/7/2015 5:03:40 AMI think it is worth it for the content, but it's what Bungie is starting to do with that content. The new light level system was a good leap from what we had, having a mean of your total equips is amazing and makes it so that one point doesn't mean as much. The problem with this is, EVERY PIECE OF GEAR IS RANDOMIZED. This includes Raid Gear which makes it even more frustrating, it honestly doesn't feel rewarding because getting better gear is completely random. You pretty much have to hope and pray that you get a piece of gear that has higher light. Sure, at first it is good because you can pass the lower stuff on to other players, but even that becomes worthless eventually. It's honestly pushing the grind further than it needs to be. Then there is also the fact that Bungie is pretty much limiting the power of the players. Sure, Elemental primaries make it so people are limited to a certain build, I can understand wanting to change that, but removing them completely? Why not make a consumable that allows you to add elements to the weapon of your choice or better yet make it so you can use infusion to infuse an element into the weapon. This is an RPG, we are supposed to grow more powerful and be able to put down the enemies faster, light level helps that, but so does having elemental primaries. Overall TTK is great, but what Bungie is doing with it is pathetic.

BUT, considering the per hour cost of the entertainment that I'm getting from Destiny, then yes, it's very much worth it. I play about 5 days a week @ about 2-3 hours a day (except on weekends which can be quite a bit more on Saturdays) So lets say 5 days a week, times 3 hours a day = 15 hours a week + 5 more hours for weekend playing = 20 hours a week. 20 hours a week x 4 weeks a month = 80 hours x 2 months = 160 hours / $40.00 = $.25 an hour or 0.00416666666667 cents a minute ... so far ... So, yes it's worth it ;)

No. Not any more. At first I thought it was awesome but as a whole package at 40€? They took more then they delivered... Bungie is ripping the community apart financially and literary ala dividing Y1 and Y2 players. I've deleted the game for BO3 but will keep an eye on it.

I feel like I'm getting my money's worth. I've played subscription based games before and Destiny is feeling a bit like that with all the DLC. I'm not a fan of being double charged though with PS+ and DLC, and now SEN is pushing PS Now. Tack that onto what I pay my ISP and electric bill and all this is starting to feel like I'm getting charged 4-5 times to play one game. Maybe it's best not to think about it.

Nope they made a huge hope of so much more story and end of story content that it was gonna be worth the price tag all we got was a short story and then another raid that has crap drops to make us grind more so 25-30 bucks should of been its real cost

1 답변Nope. I thought we were getting a third raid, I didn't know it would be the only (relevant) raid. They said we were giving us more strikes but I wasn't aware the relevant playlist would be limited to 5. Didn't we have like 10 before we payed for more content? Destiny has been fun at times but every time they do something right, they do 3 things wrong. If you think it was worth it, wait until you see how much content you get from Bethesda for $40.

Nah should have been less to compensate for those trash DLCs they had us buy for 20 each feel like they were barely worth 5 bucks 40 I want new evrything not just enemies and recolored gear I want new looking gear for my hunter even if it's just greens or blues New subclasses definitely step in right direction however I'm tired of seeing same old ships etc.. the point is details matter
