When you run ahead your activating the AI. So your teammates have to clear them out anyway. Then you get too far ahead and everybody dies. That's selfish and who would want to play with these people in poe etc. What I do when they do this. They get to kill the final boss by themselves. I still get more kills than them and for some reason I always get something legendary. So go ahead keep being selfish jerks lol.
To those who say they want to finish it as fast as possible, BS morons. Its still takes the same amount of time to do. Your just doing this because you think your screwing team mates...

I averaged 9 minutes per strike from the time I spawn into one to the time I spawn into the next farming hopscotch. 9 minutes per strike for 282 strikes. It is WAY faster to push. Also, I ran ruin wing titan with heaps of synths. Routinely killed boss before teammates reached it. Got 20+ friend requests not a single complaint. I'm set to auto join fire team chat, no one ever said or messaged anything negative.

Why should I? I could say the same to you considering you've just repeated others from past post. You claim it takes the same time when it doesn't take anywhere near the same time. If you want to sit back and kill some low level mobs then be my guest but I'm going for the boss as quick as possible.

Screw the team right. Tell you what when you grow up and get a job. The first thing you do is tell everyone there. You're not a team player and your there only for you. Shortly after that you'll be back playing this at home. Because you won't have a job anymore. Sounds right?

But when your in matchmaking what you do effects your team mates as well. There only jerks to you. Now its time to pick your spot in the asshole club because you earn it. You must feel like a god. How am I screwing them over? Can they not kill low level mobs on their own? Do I need to hold their hand through the whole strike? Are their guns broken? Like I said if they can't solo some mobs that THEY want to kill then they can find a different game or backout. I'll kill the boss solo.

Since your too lazy to read what I already posted. You set the AI's off leaving the muscle work to others. Why? Because you think it's funny. Which is fine to me. I'll take my time removing your speed run. At the end I'll let you do the boss by yourself. You go down well that's too bad for you. And guess what I'll get that legendary you were supposed to get. Why because you have no idea how these strikes work. You miss a cp you miss out. Have fun lone wolf. Hope the same minded people play with you in pve. Leave you alone against a real team that plays together. Opposed to your way against everyone. Now bug off and go play strikes by yourself..

I only run strikes for bounties -planet bound versions-, Nightfalls, Weekly Heroics, and recently to get a Hopscotch Pilgrim. I absolutely run past the shriekers and first room during the Tanniks strike. There is no reason to engage there other* than to glimmer farm with consumables or to hope for engrams. Same with the first room in the Valus strike. Same with enemies who aren't the Devil Walker right before Sepiks. If I don't have to kill something to progress further in a strike, then I won't. If another player cannot hold his own, I will generally come back and clear enough enemies so that they can catch up, but when I'm not playing with friends I just don't care as much about my fireteam. I bet most people feel the same way when they're in a random fireteam. *fixed otter to other
