Running ahead has always annoyed me some but last night it cost me all my progress on the 'no die' bounties. A player ran ahead and died which caused us all to die. That is really annoying.

Just like how you are trying to complete your bounties we are trying to complete ours. I have limited time to spend playing these days so to maximize my bounty collecting I run through, have save points, so them in order of speed/ ease etc. Of you see a player run ahead you can out to follow our return to orbit and try again. Nothing says you need to stay. ;) I run ahead so I won't leave as group for that. Also I won't leave a group just cause I died and ruined my bounty. That's my fault. I will leave when they are doing stupid things or trying to ride my coattails by standing back and not fighting anything. I once had a player run up to everything and punch it to death. I know there is a bounty for it but after the third or fourth time they died in the first room of the nexus strike during a weekly I was done. You are not obligated to play with anyone you don't want to play with. So don't feel bad about leaving them to their own fate. Of you do it to me some time I'll understand and happily keep running. :)

2 답변You run as a team or not at all. Leaving your support behind shows arrogance & poor teamwork skills.

1 답변I don't like it, it feels wrong lol. And plus if you die you kinda mess up the whole team anyways.

I can't stand it. I wish Bungie would give strikes optional match making. I may be a little sadistic but I love slowly eradicating everything in my path during strikes. Other douchebags who run ahead get in the way of that.

I only have one thing, and that's that one players death should not cause you or anyone else to die. If you die, it's all on you. Strikes are extremely easy and soloable. If you die in one, it's because of a mistake you've made yourself. There's literally no excuse unless they trolled you with a sparrow. That being said. I always run ahead of my team and always end up with most kills anyways. It's not a matter of players running ahead. It's knowing how to kill everything quickly and move quickly as well. Given the strikes never change each time you do them, this is easily learned. I get more annoyed when I'm at the boss and a player is still slowly making their way 3/4 of the way there. The only exception is if they just joined in. People who are afk, or just casually walking along are annoying to me because I kill everything very fast and still leave them behind. Besides the best possible rewards are in the endgame feed.

Can't say i like it, but I wont tell someone explicitly how to play a game. I myself like to kill everything. But on the other hand I hate it when they say just skip it. You dont have to kill that. Its faster this way. Honestly dont see the point in finishing a strike or whatever in 3 mins less time. If your that time poor why bother. Takes away from the fun. Imo.

1 답변Only when I'm trying to complete one of the bounties without dying and they run off ahead and die causing all of us to die. I usually sparrow them to death the rest of the strike.

1 답변Personal opinion here, but I frequently end up with teammates who don't play the way I do. I try really hard to avoid complaining about them, because they're probably complaining about something I do. I love speed running, and I do it on almost every strike, especially in the Vanguard playlists. Almost every time, I end up getting a disproportionate number of kills, for example this game. When players try to keep up with me, the numbers even out a lot more, but even so, I usually end up with the most kills. I could easily say I'm annoyed by players that don't get as many kills or run as fast as me, but that wouldn't be very fair to their preferred playstyle. I understand your frustration, but on the bounties that require you to "get X amount of Y without dying," it's really not very safe to do it in matchmade strike playlists. I sure don't, and I don't think anyone should. If you want (or need) to do it in a strike (for example, Complete Any Strike Without Dying), do it with friends or do a Phogoth run, which is extremely fast (so if you do happen to die, you can just quickly start over). Otherwise, it's way safer to do the other "no die" bounties on patrol, just doing patrol missions.

It depends what context you are talking about. If it's just "simple" strikes like tiger/roc/dragon (or even the ones beneath those) why wouldn't you just run? You're only there for the rewards at the end and you don't get better ones by stopping to shoot everything on the way. The only things you must stop and shoot are those things that bar your progression to the next part of the strike. But other than that you just want it over as quick as you can so you can get on and do the next one.

작성자: FearingDeath777 7/27/2015 6:31:20 PMIt depends but most of the time no since we have all done the strikes a zillion times. I hate when people leave because you are killing too many people and they get butthurt. It happens quite a lot for me idk why they just don't play more aggressive.

I try not to run ahead but last night it happened because the 2 other guys decided to stand around shooting things as they respawned instead of working on the strike. Finally I just left the strike while the last guy, the other left, just did his thing.

Why waste time on trash that doesn't even aid in the checkpoint/completion of the strike?!
