Sorry man can't agree with you and bungie won't. You're advocating shaming which bungie doesn't condone. You're also just asking for more extreme punishment for first time offense.
I would agree it would be fair to remove the weapons they earned while cheating it is not fair to permanently ban people for the backing out glitch without violating it again after the temporary ban.
Lag switchers and ddosers permban all you like.

Like I said... the stance is too soft and encourages cheating. It's a lack of morals. If you know it's wrong, don't do it. 1st offense is still cheating and shouldn't be tolerated much less condoned by weak punishments that are really just a time out.

It's not cheating if the developers aren't testing the perk sets on grenades beforehand. This fame has been in development for how long? And you're going to cry cheating? It's Bungie's fault, not the gamers.

Cheats are worthless scrubs that need to be removed from the community period. If you want a cheat in your clan or on your fireteam, you can have them all. Start a wayward house for scrubs and teach them to get good instead of cheating.
Ok if they lost their rewards but had a temporary ban. How would that encourage cheating more than a permanent ban.
Permanent ban is not a viable solution. The last thing they want is player count to go down.
