Bungie is encouraging cheating
Most people are aware of the ToO cheats and the golden gun cheats. A lot of people have been caught.
Bungie's solution: temporary bans and temporary restrictions on using gear obtained by cheating. This is ridiculous. You're making it worth cheating.
My solution: permanent bans - the community doesn't need cheaters, hackers or lag switchers. Can't do that? Link a "Cheating Scrub" emblem that can't be changed on cheater accounts and remove all gear obtained by cheating from their account.
Your current stance on cheating is too soft and needs to be rethought.

2 답변I have an idea for how punishments can work for cheating in ToO/Crucible. 1st offense - Temp ban from Destiny for let's say a week and ToO for 2-3 weeks. Remove all items earned from cheating. 2nd offense - Perm ban from Destiny altogether OR an even longer temp ban from Destiny (like 3+ weeks) and perm ban from ToO/Crucible

2 답변Go with the Titanfall method, have cheaters be matched up with cheaters. Hell, people will terrible connections on average too since they create a lot of issues.

2 답변First off the Unlimited golden gun isn't a glitch or cheat. It's using your armor to your advantage in a way the devs -blam!-ed up.

I just played a game of control against a fire team of six hunters all equipped with gear to recharge your super from grenade hits(kills). No joke after the first minute of the game or so they had non-stop supers going. Truly ridiculous. I really want to see that stop like right the eff now

You're also just asking for more extreme punishment for first time offense. I would agree it would be fair to remove the weapons they earned while cheating it is not fair to permanently ban people for the backing out glitch without violating it again after the temporary ban. Lag switchers and ddosers permban all you like.

18 답변How is it the players fault if the developer isn't willing to test out all the grenades in reactions to perk sets. It's not the gamers fault, it would be Bungie's.

I remember rockstar, when Max Payne was released put all cheaters in their own area where they couldn't get xp etc. bungee should adopt this. Wanna cheat? carry on, but you won't get rewards and imo that's the only reason they do it.
