Its not a stupid idea atal. People moan about the story and lore not being in game but call people lazy for having to manually match make their games. What difference is there between finding randoms on a forum or getting randoms in matchmaking? None what so ever! And if its optional match making what difference would it make to people who want to do it solo or with friends? Again, None what so ever! I'm on here now because I'm away for the weekend and not playing. Its not that hard to come on here but its an unnecessary inconvenience. In the same way I shouldn't have to leave the game to read the story, I shouldn't have to leave the game to find people to raid with or do the nightfall with. I have people on my friends list that I can join but most of the time when I get time to play and do the nightfalls they aren't on. Also, matchmaking is already a feature in the game on some things so the framework is there and it wouldn't take hardly any time or effort for them to implement it into raids and nightfalls, so they would still have plenty of time for new content, or to just make other changes knowone asked for like the weapons patch coming soon. But just because you don't need it doesn't mean other people don't need it. Like I don't need my parents to pay for my games and internet for me because I have a job, but other people do need that.

Okay well I'm going to say this one more time. How hard is it to pick up your phone...hit that recruiting forum. And say "hey looking for somebody for nightfall hehehehehehe add me on dreamcast". Jesus Christ. This community just wants to bitch about everything. Just shut up you whiny little babies. JUST SHUT UP AND USE THE FORUMS THIS ISNT A NEW CONCEPT. If it takes too long to find a group then learn to not suck and solo it like half of destiny already does anyways. I'm sorry I have a life, a family and a job, and don't have time to waste waiting around in forums looking for people to raid with or whatever. Oh and matchmaking isn't a new concept either. Seriously you call others whiney for wanting matchmaking but you're the whiney one, complaining and crying about something that wouldn't affect you atal. So how about you shut up, you don't want optional matchmaking that's fine, I don't care and neither does anyone else, but some people do, so until it happens I guess you'll just have to deal with it. If you can't spare a measly 5 minutes (which is roughly the time it takes to go to the tower and back to orbit, not an exaggeration either) to click on here; then you shouldn't be playing the game. Should we also add matchmaking at the local gymnasium so you don't have to talk to other people to start a pickup game?????????????
