Agreed.
That post suprised me since we all know the predictable majority response: "make it more like COD"
Hell yes, let's just suck the variety and diversity out of online gaming and all be like COD. :P

cod is about 100x better for pvp action i still play pvp from time to time and fire up the ps3 to hit black ops 2, or, if friends are on, modern warfare 2...sad to see very few people playing that one anymore crucible just isn't a game i enjoy. guns are too unbalanced. caters to cqb, too much health. maps have too many blind spots and camp traps. control isn't even control it's KD with circles. i mean seriously, who made control ? did you guys ever play domination? ever think that maybe holding zones should be what wins games?

It's what the majority wants. Unfortunately, that translates into cash which is what Activision/Bungie want. I haven't played a COD title since PS2. Battlefield: Bad Company was my game until the franchise tried to clone COD and that's when I stopped playing. Mindless run-n-gun is pointless to me. I'd rather make an appointment with a proctologist.
