I'm a firm believer that there should be no starting heavy OR special ammo at all.
-Have spawn points on the map where special ammo spawns at every 2-3 minutes, and it only provides ammo to the ONE person who grabs it.
-Have spawns for heavy ammo stay the same but it only gives ammo to TWO players standing at it.
Set it up more toward a Halo feel in a way. It would make the playing field far more fair, and make those special weapons actually be SPECIAL. Not something you run around with all game using like a damn primary.

Never cared much for FPS in general. Played a lot of MGO, though. Back then, everyone had the same access to the guns available. You spent points earned through the match to get better guns, and on death you lost them. Shitty players got shit, and good players still had to gamble on saving for a kick ass gun, knowing it would be lost if they made a poor decision or some noob got lucky. And no health re-gen. I feel that's the real problem with FPS, imo. But I haven't played any of the new ones...

Having ammo that spawns for only one person would literally cause fights between teams for special ammo lol. I already walk around beating the asshole in last place who takes the heavy w out waiting for his team. That can single handedly lose a game your winning. Friggen noobs

Did I say I want Destiny to be halo, or did I suggest that the multiplayer could be improved by implementing a similar mechanic used in Halo's multiplayer? (Which is one of the most played, well known, and highly enjoyed online multiplayer experiences in gaming period) There's a difference, it's implementing similar features that worked EXTREMELY well in past games and was well received by the community, critics, and pro gamers alike. The real question is why would they NOT implement brilliant simple mechanics that worked flawlessly in their past games? It makes complete sense to do so. Now, if I said something like "multiplayer needs stacked kill streaks like call of duty has", it'd make sense to say "go play call of duty then", because it's made by an entirely different developer. Halo and Destiny are BOTH made by Bungie, meaning they already share some mechanics regardless, and borrowing from their past games is an entirely logical decision.

Is it that hard for you to comprehend a simple alteration to a game by implementing pre existing mechanics from a past title proven to create a balanced multiplayer mechanic, or are you just another thick skulled troll who gets his jollies by acting like you're a full blown autist on the Internet?
