To me is special weapons in PvP mode is horrible, just a bunch of lazy unskilled gamers getting kills because they have a special weapon. Special weapons on PvP is like the GMO of gaming. Its bad for the hardcore organic type of gaming environment. No man honestly, Jet packs, radars, special wepons, auto aims, its just an insult for true gamers, the ones who like to play for real without all this lame features that only promotes nothing but lame gaming experience!!
(Obs. Im not here to offend anyone or any type of game, if i did im sorry, is just somenthig i had to say.)

2 通の返信Who the hell are you calling unskilled with KDs like those?! Different guns for different maps. I use all the specials equally. Just an FYI, Sniper Rifles arent really hard to use in this game. I typically suck nuts at sniping and even I can do work with one.

I acknowledge that there are some problems with the Crucible, but what you're suggesting is ridiculous Without all of those features (almost all gameplay mechanics), we would have very limited mobility, very limited ways to approach combat, and very limited choices to make in general. You're decreasing the skill gap and making it incredibly boring. Before you call anyone "lazy unskilled gamers", make sure you have a decent K/D ratio to back it up. Don't speak for the entire community and don't imply that you're a "true gamer". You don't get to define who is a "true gamer" and who isn't. And everything you said is your opinion, not ours. Don't throw around random suggestions with little to no evidence why that change should be implemented, and don't suggest anything if you don't know most of the possible unintended and undesirable consequences that that change could have. I have no problems dealing with any of the things that you mentioned (which is basically everything). Don't want to get killed by Shotguns? Don't go round tight corners and narrow corridors with a weapon inappropriate for engagements in such scenarios. Special Weapons are there to be used in specific situations. Using Shotguns at close-range, using Sniper Rifles at long-range and pre-charging Fusion Rifles around corners are smart and logical things to do. If you don't make full use of your arsenal, that's your loss. I don't even know why you suggested removing vertical movement abilities. Maybe you just made this thread because you got frustrated in the Crucible? Keep practicing, you'll get better. Learn to adapt and approach different combat scenarios smartly.

2 通の返信Keltaroにより編集済み: 12/18/2014 2:22:20 AMFirst, try getting better at crucible before complaining about special weapons. -If you rush corners without being prepared for shotgun/fusion, you deserved that death. -If you hear a fusion rifle charging and you still peep out that corner, you deserved that death. When I first started out at PVP my KD was 0.60. I got killed by shotgun/fusion left and right. I feared them greatly. Now that i am a little better, I have a fair chance of countering them.

Lol, the plug. 1 I got from a vangaurd package will be a true douche miser in Crucible. It's a near max impact fusion rifle with decent range plus range finder and send it perks. LOL. it has auto rifle range. I'll be on all day Friday, see you guys in iron banner then.

15 通の返信I'm a firm believer that there should be no starting heavy OR special ammo at all. -Have spawn points on the map where special ammo spawns at every 2-3 minutes, and it only provides ammo to the ONE person who grabs it. -Have spawns for heavy ammo stay the same but it only gives ammo to TWO players standing at it. Set it up more toward a Halo feel in a way. It would make the playing field far more fair, and make those special weapons actually be SPECIAL. Not something you run around with all game using like a damn primary.

1 返信I like how this thread has like 350 replies all focused on telling a single butt hurt individual to piss off xD

3 通の返信Specials are not the problem. The abundance of special ammo all over the map is. Restrict the ammo and you will make for a much better Pvp experience.

1 返信Just saying, if you've played a console FPS that doesn't utilize auto aim, you're in for a very tough time. Auto aim is what makes console FPS games playable. PC doesn't need auto aim because of the precision controls, and personally I like PC gaming better anyway. But that's my only complaint. Secondary weapons are ok, but having a special weapons category in PvP is stupid, at least start everyone off with no special ammo along with heavy ammo, make it just primaries.

1 返信I truely do agree, one hit kill weapons kinda ruin the skill it takes to do well at the game, especially since they kill fast compared to assault rifles and the such

7 通の返信Just throwing this out here: PvP is a term that spawned from the MMO genre of games, not shooters. It means Player vs. Player. In the age of games such as Everquest, Dark Age of Camelot, and World of WarCraft, it was used to describe how players could fight against each other. In those games, auto aim, special abilities, super jumping, etc were the only things your player had, there was no such thing as manually aiming your weapon at your target. You click on them and you stayed targeted. Your only options for attack were "special abilities". So you sir, need to rethink your complaint or go back to being a CoD fanboi. Also, please refrain from ever calling yourself a hardcore gamer. Those of us who truly are hardcore gamers have been playing MMO's FPS's and just about all others types of games, and we love each of them for how different they are from others. We don't complain that one isn't more like another. We don't want character customization in a strategy, or multiplayer modes in an RPG. Combos of genres have their place, but they are still within their own place. That said, destiny is a combo of MMO and FPS. That's a careful line to walk, but by removing what makes it an MMO, you are fundamentally changing what the game is. Don't try to make it something that's already been done. TL:DR - don't use your CoD fanboi bullshit to complain about the game because you don't understand how other types of games work.
