even just addressing complaints would be huge. even if all that happens is bungie saying they're cognizant, is a big improvement. if they said, yeh you guys don't like this "thing", too bad its not changing; players would at least have an answer.
Yeah, but that's what I'm saying, if bungie said, "We know that there are problems" What would the gaming press do? Scream "BUNGIE ACKNOWLEDGES THEIR GAME IS SHIT: NEVER PURCHASE!!!" in all of their headlines is what they'd do. They' blow it out of proportion unless the statement was crafted carefully and precisely.
When you're just talking casually to one of your buddy's, a slip of the tongue or a misinterpretation is no big deal. When you're addressing MILLIONS of people dealing with MILLIONS of dollars there is a little bit more pressure to make sure that anything you say is not going to be taken the wrong way.
Which is ironic, given how much content was alluded to, I know, but I do think that since the original ViDocs were made, Activision did reach out and grab a lot of the content for DLC. It's a tough spot. Maybe Bungie should have just made a subscription fee mandatory and given us the entire game for $60?
Which would you have preferred?
