Incorrect. There are countless screenshots and mentions of character levels. In fact, in the e3 2013 gameplay the character/enemy levels appear before their name over their health bar. And during the end of the video, during the public event, the guy controlling the warlock says 'another fire team coming, oh they are 20s (referring to the character level), this is gonna be good!'
This calls into question every other 'fact' on your list. Please do not spread mis-information, as it leads to people repeatedly asking the same questions.

darkdraymにより編集済み: 6/8/2014 11:17:07 PMNo. http://www.gameinformer.com/games/destiny/b/playstation4/archive/2014/04/28/hands-on-with-the-three-classes.aspx Each focus has 8 levels. You can upgrade your focus and it will level, but your character also levels. As a matter of fact there are Many articles and videos from Destiny Week (week of April 28th, 2014) that clearly state in one way or another that characters have levels. In one, the journalist said that the Bungie employee (I think it was Eric) told them that a certain level 20- something titan(think that was the class) was nearing the level cap and end game content. It always pays to do some digging no matter how 'official' or 'sure' someone seems. Bungie only lets very few people know the truth about this game. And really, a lot of these 'facts' on this list are just speculation and have no factual basis. Not trying be a dick but its just wrong to encourage false information. Edit: EVERYTHING levels. You, your focus, your armor, and your guns.

Thank you for an actual insightful reply. You are correct, the 8 levels of upgrades is up for debate as to how exactly it works, and the same with the actual leveling of anything. Though, I seriously doubt that everything will have leveling except characters...it makes zero sense to a logical person lol. While it may be unclear how leveling works, there is still surmountable evidence that there will in fact be character levels, as well as focus levels, gun levels, and armor levels. As for the me not wanting to be a dick, I meant that toward the OP and not you, lol. I know you were just asking me for some more proof than just my word on it. I also later linked a forum topic that had a list of many many articles and videos, if you care to sift through all the pointless (because this guy just refuses to admit he is wrong) 'arguing'. :)

Upgrade Categories Green: The three things that all characters can upgrade are their weapons, their armor, and their focus. Those all level up as you use them. So when you’re wearing your armor and earning experience your armor’s leveling up. When you’re using weapons to get kills, those specific weapons are leveling up. And your focus also levels up when you’re getting kills or completing activities. From the article. This info is from last year's E3 and a few things have changed since then. If you watched the recently leaked Alpha game play you will see no LVs for the characters.

"Since it’s the third class I’m trying out in the same gameplay area, I take some time to explore the potential upgrades for the focus before entering the game. While my ship is hovering in orbit, I take a quick glance at the upgrade screen, where I find the focus has eight levels of upgrades that slowly unlock as I increase in levels." That is from the first link I put here. Which, by the way, is also shockingly dated April 28, 2014 at the very top. Maybe you need your eyes checked or something.

ZERO XVII 17により編集済み: 6/9/2014 5:28:00 AMThis is a Q and A. The guy writing the article does not actually talk about his experience playing Destiny meaning that he probably has not played it and if he has he is only referencing things that the Bungie developer said. This article is all from speculation comparing Destiny to Diablo. Talking about how your character gets stronger with gear. The only statement I see referencing LV is, "But not all focuses, or super abilites, are available at the start of the game. You must level up to unlock them." This implies a character LV system. I will do some digging into this.

This will be my last reply to you, dude. I have supplied plenty of evidence to show you that you are not correct and you continue to deny it. That's cool, deny all you want. It doesn't change facts. But anyway, That article is NOT a Q & A. It is more accurately a summary of an interview with Bungie employee Tyson Green. If you would read the entire article instead of skimming it, I can see at least 3 or 4 places where they talk about level cap, and Green even says that getting to the level cap is 'actually a pretty quick process'. A direct quote from the article: "In traditional role-playing fashion, as you earn experience your character level increases (Bungie won't say what the level cap is yet, but we haven't seen anything higher than level 20). As you level up you will find and equip better gear, and vendors in the Tower, Destiny's social hub, will sell different items to you." It also states that everything levels up, even your focus. And as was pointed out by another person I could agree that just because a focus has 8 levels of upgrades doesn't mean it only has 8 levels. But the point of me even posting on here was to tell you that you were sharing inaccurate information. And as someone else pointed out as well, don't represent something as fact when you cannot support it with facts in whatever form (video or article). I would not have bothered hammering you about this if you had simply said that your list was your speculation. Speculation I can respect and debate, giving you sources that prove you wrong if I have them, and you can then change your speculation, admit you were wrong, and not look like an ass. My advice would be that next time you do something like this: provide sources, or start by saying you are speculating, or just don't do it.

LOL! This article has false info. Deej himself confirmed that this article is NOT TRUE!!! According to Green, you need to play "a couple of hours, tops", to unlock PvP. "And that's only on your first character." Click the link above. /\

You must be the most self absorbed SOB on the planet. I doubt you even read the full article. It states repeatedly that characters level. I don't care that they messed up and said it only takes a few hours to max level. In order to max level, you have to level though. Get over yourself, dude, you don't know everything. That link of yours said NOTHING about character leveling, Deej simply stated that it would take more than a few hours. Seriously, you are either the most self absorbed wannabe omniscient I have ever seen, or you are just dumber than dirt.

Dude, it says as I increase in level....how much plainer can that be? And obviously you didnt even bother looking at the other info. There is clearly reference to a level 20 titan! You are just contradicting yourself now. Next time you attempt to share information how about you provide sources like all the legitimate sharers do. And don't pull PvP bs either. You use the same character in every game mode, or is Bungie not a reputable source for Destiny information? I'm sorry you can't take factual criticism well.
-
You can be in denial all you want, man. Characters level. Also, grenades and melee have cool downs, and do not recharge as you get kills. The cool down is nixed if you get a kill with one (devil's lair footage). And that article may be old but it wasn't what I was looking for. Try looking at all the legitimate info that Bungie released during Destiny Week, the end of April this year.

Can you type in anything but caps? And if you are so informed then please make a new post with links because some of this dates back to before there was even game play. I am not going to go back and read every single post from every weekly update, every twitter feed, every More Console and Destiny Updates video, and every news and magazine article just to get you to believe me. If you can link information for anything that contradicts what I say, THEN you can say whatever you want. But otherwise go troll on a different forum. Try to build something up not tear it down.
