The Xbox did switch the DRM so that the always online is gone,region based is gone, all that crap is gone so the Xbox is compatible with competing with the ps4 (not trying to cause a huge fight just in case some of you didn't know idk I'm just an Xbox fan that doesn't want a good system like an Xbox to be over looked
