Anything to avoid a subscription fee I endorse 100%. Anyone who wants additional goodies and is willing to pay for it should get it through Bungie, especially because third-party vendors will sell stuff regardless. It's best that Bungie use the money for the benefit of the community and sell also through micro-transactions.
