I've tried but I can't seem to like it. Cartoons can never be serious in my eyes, and when it comes to star wars that's kinda what I want it to be, so a cartoon is just a big no no.

it depends on the audience and the cinematography. If the character design and dialog were more realistic and mature respectively, there wouldn't be much difference between TCW and a live action Star Wars film. They're filmed much the same way because they wanted to approach each episode like a cinematic experience. However, since it's marketed towards children, the dialog is often drawn out and (without calling it corny) simple for kids to understand. I do see what you're coming from, but I don't tend to let it bother me. I've seen some pretty serious/dramatic cartoons, but most of the american ones are marketed towards children.

  • Yeah although I am obviously aware that it's aimed at children and therefore will be a little cheesy, the fact that it is a cartoon is something that I personally don't like, and the fact that it's aimed at kids is something else that I also don't like. Oh well, new films will be here before we know it.
