"Just use abilities"
I can't believe the most common counterargument to such blatantly dumb choices for this season's artifact is just spam abilities in a first-person shooter...
If I want to spam abilities, I'll play Warframe, where I can actually feel powerful.

Absolutely. Especially because Destiny has always been the apex game regarding gunplay. I'm sick of having to spend my playing time trying to formulate some half -blam!-ed space suit when I've got 500 weapons in my vault and I'm at max power level. I just want to wear a set of armour and shoot sh!t

Its just a technique to stun a powerful enemy...then you can use all your weapons to kill it. Its a good suggestion. Abilities have been dominating for what...years now? Theyre not going to drop them or reduce the focus at this point.

Uh huh. Without looking it up, tell me a reliable way to get volatile or unraveling rounds without first killing a trash mob? Now, do that multiple times in Glassway while also dealing with a bunch of overloads and the two bosses.

I know all the tools as a hunter, the point is I hate being forced to use a small selection of these tools for a single enemy type. I don’t mind the champion system in a vacuum, I just want to be able to build myself accordingly based on what I like to use.
And the entire point of this post was how limiting anti-barrier is this season. So, you have contributed nothing as far as defending this decision by Bungie.
Theyre not. Hand canons are bad, that's about it. Some require 2-piece Techsec, but you have: - Light saber - Wishender - Arbalest - Erianas - Revision Zero - New heavy sniper with gutshot one-shots - Radiance - Any other sniper should you choose There's plenty of options. And Glassway is easy. Everyone should know by now how to pace the boss room.
Some require 2-piece Techsec
This piece of your thread has proved perfectly how ridiculous this game is getting. The armour should give the wearer some kind of buff, such as speed or protection, or health regen.....AS IT USED TO BEFORE THEY CHANGED IT ALL.. Whether I'm wearing a suit made out of 10mm high carbon armour plate, or a plastic raincoat, this should have NO EFFECT WHATSOEVER on the weapon that I'm using. Again, it's a way to make us play how they want

I think its stupid I have to use that set if I want to use Wishender at all in these, when I never did in old GMs. But its there and its an option just saying.

I know what you're saying friend, and I'm not arguing with what you said. Just the fact that it makes no sense to me. Armour should protect and aid the wearer, weapons should have separate traits to aid power and stability etc.
