If you have an opinion on something you should be willing to debate and discuss to see if your view is well-supported. Regardless, I am not using my opinion to limit the rights of other people. Example: If I believed that interracial marriage was wrong, I wouldn't go out and vote for someone intended to make it illegal since I respect the fact that they have different beliefs than me (in respect to interracial marriage) and that my opinion shouldn't force them to live their lives a certain way.
