Feedback works well where you have a two-way communication. Bungie is not a company that have a well-working communication with their players, obviously, seeing how EoF was recieved. Also, Bungie has admitted in the news section that they did things wrong. If you only have a one-way communication, it tends to move to more complaints. There are a lot of feedback on this forum - good feedback, but Bungie don't answer, and when they don't answer and keep on developing the game in a way most players don't like, people get frustrated and sad they the game they loved is being trashed. Most people "complaining" here are people who genuinely like (or liked) Destiny and have played that for many, many years investing both money and time in it, and they don't like how the game have changed, and thus voicing it here at Bungies official forum.

[/quote] generally agree with you but thinking that the people complaining/commenting on the forums account for 'most players' i don't agree with. yes, in the posts that are pointing things out you may get a couple of hundred or even more likes but with a player base in the 100's of thousands (obviously not at the moment), a few hundred people liking a post does not constitute 'most players'. bungie will normally stick with the 'data' they have. if data shows let's say 50k people online and playing on average at any given time and they see 300 people liking a post complaining about something, that's a really small percentage. not even worth paying attention to really. hence they rarely respond on the forums. now, when player count starts to decline, then the HAVE to make a statement like they did, as you mentioned.
