Sure. Whatever. Everything arc can do prismatic can do better. Both warlock and titan have arc builds that are unique and powerful on their subclasses.

I agree with the arc prismatic on hunter but I wouldn’t say arc as a whole is useless in higher end content. Exotics like Raijus harness, bombardiers and assassins cowl play really well into arc. Also it doesn’t matter too much if titan and warlock have a better arc kit because overall hunters excel in all other things except solar

Why would that not matter? Besides that's pretty subjective, right now void hunter is invis bot (which let me say, prismatic is also a better nightstalker lol) and while bubble isn't really in the best spot I'd argue void titan has the best void kit. (as well as strand) Stasis is kind of whatever but I'd argue warlock still has the best kit there. Raiju's Harness needs to let kills WITH jolt and kills with the super itself for it to be good. I'm saying to remove the tiny timeframe you get when you cast where you have to kill DEBUFFED targets ([i]compare that to Skull of Dire Ahamkara and tell me that this exotic doesn't suck -blam!- with a straight face[/i]) remove that arbitrary requirement too lol. Assassins cowl has been completely powercrept because of prismatic hunter, there is NO point running combo blow on arc nowadays. NONE. It's just objectively worse in every way. Damage, survivability, utility, crowd control. Bombardiers [i]could[/i] be good if the bomb wasn't so short range and didn't take forever to blow up, it also just feels kind of unnecessary in this sandbox. I'd always just rather have liars hand or the class item. Arc hunter is doo doo and serves pretty much no niche other than Raiden Flux but the issue is that it's base kit is so bad that you just kinda feel useless outside of your super because you gotta hide for a majority of your gameplay. Even when I watch itzTizzle (a youtuber who swears up and down that it's fantastic) he sits in the back and hides until his super is charged. We are in a sandbox where that kind of gameplay is outdated and feels like -blam!-.

I mean yeah it is all subjective and I do agree that the listed exotics need tweaking to bring them up to speed. Personally I just haven’t ever struggled or felt underpowered or like titans and warlocks have it better🤷🏻‍♂️ I know I’m probably in the minority but regardless of meta shifts, buffs and nerfs etc I just feel hunter is and has always been the most consistently strong class.

I mean that isn't true at all lol no disrespect. Maybe in PvP sure but definitely NOT the case in PvE. Titans and Warlocks have absolutely dominated the PvE meta for all of D2's lifespan, there was one single time in the game's history where hunters dominated the meta and they were nerfed in a week. Hell, before witch queen you'd see NO HUNTERS on LFG posts just because they were so useless. Celestial was garbage for years and tether was redundant with div in the game, they literally didn't have a place in the game. Hunter being serviceable in PvE is a very recent thing, yet they're still kinda miles behind outside of prismatic. Right now besides invis (which is something hunters are unhappy with) Titans and Warlocks can do what hunters do but better. Combination blow is still outclassed by consecration, base thundercrash does more damage than base celestial (as does nova bomb), warlocks have far better crowd control options, both titans and warlocks offer utility that hunters can't (like well, bubble, unbreakable, storms keep, healing turrets), both warlock and titan offer better survivability. All this would be fine and dandy if hunters had something else to bring them up to par, but they kinda don't. It feels like hunters are built to be glass cannons but they do less damage than other classes and don't offer utility outside of team invis which nobody needs in any content in the game...

I just don’t really see it, I mean sure titans and warlocks have some pretty cool busted things but the majority of the time I’m out performing others in all levels of content (apart from pvp and boss dps) Also who are these hunters who hate invis?! A majority of hunters were upset with void 3.0 (including me) because it was nothing but invis aspects. While both Titans and Warlocks got new toys to play with it just kinda felt like hunters got a worse version of a subclass they already had. Pre 3.0 void hunters were slinging nades all over the place because of combat provisions and omni. Now all void hunter can do is be a rez bot. The only saving grace was gyrfalcons but since the destabilizing rounds buff there is just no way I can justify using it anymore. People were asking bungie over and over for a new void melee and an aspect that didn't have to do with invisibility, what did bungie do? Gave void hunters another invis aspect that is mediocre to bad in PvE and balanced for PvP. Great... Also you don't have to agree with me, it's just the state that hunters are in and have been in. Objectivity is objective. Is it gonna make me stop playing hunter? No. But I am going to acknowledge the fact that as a Hunter I have to put in like twice as much effort to match up to titans and warlocks and state that it's kinda lame.

Eh I don’t know man I just don’t understand the victim mentality of D2 players. People are never just happy with the class they play and always seem to think that the others get better treatment. I genuinely don’t mean any offence but if you’re having to put in twice as much work to match up to titans and warlocks, perhaps it’s just a you issue?

It's not a me issue if I'm able to switch to another character and just have a flat out easier time. Even if I'm carrying my own weight and slaying out I'll still get asked to switch to a titan or warlock in day one scenarios. Titans and Warlocks just flat out offer more to the team and do it all EASIER. It's not a "victim mentality" if its literally -blam!- true dude. I've played hunter for a DECADE.

You hit the nail here. They ARE NOT A REAL HUNTER... Happy. Everyone of their topics is about this same ****. In the beginning I tried to help them... provided strats and kits, gave them data tested and validated by many. I provided videos of those utilizing these tactics, strategies, and builds. Didn't matter. I run, have run arc Hunter... it is weaker than an optimal prismatic kit in PvE, but it's still incredibly strong... certainly viable. Great super, great DPS rotations... good survivability. Mothkeepers are number 1 overall... then Foetracer, Bakris, or Star Eaters... notice I didn't mention the chest... if you need the DR from the intrinsic or favor Tempest over Ascension then maybe. Otherwise, there are better arc exotics.

Nice to see someone talking some sense!💪🏼 arc hunter is awesome but it just needs a few tweaks but it is in no way worse than titan and warlock. It just plays different and I think that’s what people are hung up on.

Guy thinks balance should be like this (unironically his words): Hunter hard mode Warlock normal mode Titan easy mode He thinks that buffing hunters in any way is ruining their identity. I was talking about how vespers host final boss is not really balanced with hunters in mind for solo (without attrition orbs) as there aren’t really red bars for them to heal off of. He then started listing damage strats (that wouldn’t work on the boss at all) and started calling me garbage (despite already doing solo flawless). When I asked him if he did it he LIED and said he had an ALT ACCOUNT and then pathetically tried to shove it off like it was no big deal 🤣 This guy is COMPLETELY delusional and is known in these forums for being completely brain dead. Also no one cares or is impressed about doing a dungeon solo flawless, you don’t get anything for doing it🤣 do you really think people in your fireteam/games look at you like you’re some sort of god? All people wanna know is if you can do the required mechanics and put out some reasonable dps, stop tryna make out like raid and dungeon clears are something to be proud of

bad raid report, bad crucible report, bad dungeon report. You cannot be talking about skill issue or balance when you don't engage meaningfully with like any high end content. You have no clue what you're talking about. Get a solo flawless done with your hunter on vesper and try again on titan and let me know if it's still just a skill issue or if there is a discrepancy with balancing.

I don’t raid often, I suck at PvP and I rarely do dungeons. Why would I even wanna attempt a solo flawless on any character? It’s not really something I care about.
