Like it or not, the mere idea of getting your hands on Trials adept weapons come with a certain psychology with it. Some call it FOMO. Some call it bragging rights. Sure, a good player can outplay anyone in the crucible with any non-adept weapon. But having one of the best weapons in the game at your disposal seem to add a little level of confidence knowing that the weapon is not going to fail you and help make your engagements a little more consistent. I say it's all in the mind, but to each their own.
