I'm genuinely asking because I don't actually care about the story and skip the cutscenes. I just wanna play lol, but anyways, the question:
Did the quest not give any exposition? Like what you pick up from Ikora?
I'm mashing buttons so I can go Jenn-ocide some more skorn but I figured it would be there.

It basically said: “Lots of Scorn sightings around an old castle. Lots of taken sightings around a castle. Ahh… a scout got killed by a Scorn wielding taken magic. Not good.” Not a lot (about the same as SotW) but meant to serve as an excuse to go somewhere. The main story implications of this is that not all the Scorn follow the Witness and the ones Fikrul has control over seem to be more intelligent and evolving (as a continuation of what we learned way back in Season of the Lost). Fikrul also now has given up on Crow/Uldren and is trying to lead the scorn for the scorn. Basically setting up the Scorn episode for next year just like how the main seasonal story will likely hint at the Vex episode
