The reason why people complain is because it's crap. Simple as that really. A boring quest tied to rng, tied to a triumph for the seal. Forced to play boring crap isn't fun.

Totally agree ! Destiny a space magic fantasy game ! Amazing visuals and solid music through out….then there’s fishing ….which involves rng . I’ve tried fishing at the start and the second time a public event knocked me out , just tedious waiting around . Different people have different tastes and opinions …fishing is not for me . Doesn’t look or feel like a exotic quest . Whisper and outbreak were amazing exotic quests ! Just in general more and more underwhelming with each season , same old same old ….the minimal Bungie does is accepted and time goes on . 🤷🏼♂️

You aren’t forced to do anything related to fishing its your choice to do the quest and seal no one made you do it You seem to be upset that Bungie added a relaxing thing to the game and are upset at it even though you can hold over 100 bait and get higher chances for exotics when the pond maxes out and is the special pond
