Gamemode isn't too bad, but it needs rework, whole game does tbh... I like the idea that if you get kills, you appear for everyone, but 5 kills? And when you do, people steal kills, get in the way, get you killed, etc, or enemies just don't come for you until last minute for kill credit... If it didn't have the whole must kill or you die, it would be a pretty cool gamemode, like a sort of 'get down mr president' gamemode, defend X player. Was able to get like a 12 kill streak ONCE, but majority of the time, 5 or six kills total streak and dead. I've spawned between enemies according to my radar, got chased, teammates don't help, and oh, funny thing about it? Enemies I play against never had this happen to them in matches with me... The game should spawn you near allies, it can do it because I've seen it... yet randomly it decides to place a player on the other side of where allies are and its BS... The matchmaking should get looked into aswell, had pretty good games earlier today, but now? Seemingly every other match has atleast one or so players that are 'too good' or suspicious. Had laggy/lagswitcher one game, instant kill, immunity, instant super, wallhacks, aimbot, etc... prob just my matchmaking atm.... The last seasons' Iron Banner (fort?) wasn't too bad, just more of a ward and well simulator when middle appeared...

  • Don’t get me wrong. I really enjoy IB. It’s just that Bungie brings out these half assed versions of game modes that could be better. Also, I’m -blam!- done with being forced into ongoing losing matches. If someone left, don’t put that problem on another player. Just kick the top scoring player from the opposing team and the numbers will be even again. And if you 100% must force another player into a losing match, make it worth their while. Enhancement prism, guaranteed weapon drop, SOMETHING.

  • Regular pvp, ie, quickplay, has rep protection I'm pretty sure. I think its for joining midway through. If someone leaves, players who are disadvantaged shouldnt get penalised, perhaps slight damage/health boost or extra rep for the inconvenience, no matter win or lose.

  • Rep protection isn’t exactly a carrot on a stick for someone being forced into losing matches. It is the bare minimum. Again, you don’t have to give em much, just a token of appreciation like a prism or a weapon. Plus, I 100% accept a regular defeat in a fresh balanced match. This is not fresh and balanced. This is someone else’s problem. Expecting me to take their place and get squashed by supers, while my bar is at zero, and there is such a big point gap that a Mercy should’ve been applied ages ago…nope. Not my cup of tea
