I agree with you but I’m starting to lose hope that the difficulty changes will be adjusted.
We are 4 weeks into this season and despite numerous requests made across several social media platforms Bungie has been silent on this.
Until the mass player exodus occurs around week 6 I believe Bungie won’t do squat.
Playing the new Neomuna content is seriously painful. It’s not fun. It’s just a boring slog.

Bungie are mostly data driven and it probably takes them a month or 2 to gather a significant amount to make decisions, so I'll bet we'll get a TWAB or twitter post or whatever within about a month saying they -blam!- up the difficulty and that they're reducing it.

Bro you darn well know they won't, this nonsense was coded into the game they're not going to spend however long coding it out. I'd think if they change anything they'd do it next DLC so everyone is stuck with this garbage. My biggest gripes; legend light gating is absolutely azz backwards and bonkers, needs not to be 1830 but 1810 or 1815, LDares needs the scoring system corrected because not a soul on this planet wants to farm boss rooms for 250,000 points, and basic patrol zones should never be light gated ever. New players will get demolished and the way the game is they won't understand how to get better. Terminal overload since it's tied to the weekly, ok fine, cap the light, but that's it.
