All good points. A vision impaired friend of mine really struggled to get anywhere in some of the Witch Queen content, and I had to throw solar grenades so he knew where to jump, guided him through as much as I could, but wow, it was a slog for him and it really sucked. Eventually I think he just stopped playing.
When I first started playing I really found all the visual effects a huge sensory overload and it really wasn't enjoyable. So I hope some of these points are taken to heart.
Bungie likes to use darkness in the environment as a "challenge". A couple years ago, I had no issues, now its really difficult to adjust from light areas to dark. Especially with a few brief bright blasts while surrounded by darkness. Ive turned my screen setting as bright as possible, but it doesnt help much.
Weird thing. I accidentally had a build with a Charged with Light Mod? and I glowed the entire time like a stadium light - I THINK thats what it was.
All I know is that I was putting out a LOT of light and could see fine on one run through that and at the time, I didn't click to the reason why, but the other day I was going down a Warmind bunker and the guy in front of me was glowing like mad and lighting up EVERYTHING, so now I need to test that theory I think.
