Yes, they do.
And warlocks have always been under-represented in Trials.
1. The vast majority of high-level pvp players have always been either Hunters amor Titans.
2. Hunters were basically designed for pvp. It’s even reflected in the games lore.
3. Warlocks get most of their power from their abilities, and pvp players in this game complain bitterly when they die to the abilities of OTHER classes. So whenever Warlocks become viable at a high level, the calls for nerfs are immediate, and Bungie responds quickly.
4. Bungie efforts to “emphasis on gunplay” means that Warlocks will always have the pvp sandbox tuned and tipped against them. That’s always been the case in D2, and I doubt it will ever change.

Kiro - 13により編集済み: 11/6/2022 9:44:05 AMWhile you nailed the first part about player representation explaining how hunters make up the majority of players followed by titans an warlocks 3rd. Thus a % value is utterly flawed and tells us nothing other then warlock is the least played class. I disagree with the rest, warlocks suffer from 2 issues a very high skill ceiling and being pigeon holed. I know you been around for a moment and are fairly active @KG so I know you are aware of how TTD outperformed stasis on launch before any nerf's and that TWAB from about a year ago. To that end solar and void are still insanely good, but we all know even your slightly above avrage player is utterly trash when it comes to movement mastery. So in the mid to low end brackets which is where 90% of the player base is it feels like trash, but at the top end TTD w/heat rising+icarus dash+ophidian aspect & well of radiance is insanely strong. This plays into the second part pigeon holing. You are forced to play this exact class and build or you just loose. Now it is an issue that warlocks are pigeon holed I agree, but thats an entirely different issue. You either play solar or void and MUST be a god of warlock parkour/movement mastery. If you lack either of these you will under-perform. Which atleast 90% of the player base is not capable of. Warlocks are just fine beyond being pigeon holed, its the fact that it requires an insane level of skill. Thus what will happen a large amount of players will complain because they are not part of the top 10%. aka you get posts like this saying "warlocks suck".

Yet you exclude the reason Bungie nerfed warlocks in pvp .... Bungies words from their own twab, solar dawn blade warlocks have the highest win percentage in all of pvp for multiple years running. Hence the change.

Epocにより編集済み: 11/5/2022 11:23:36 PMlmao, you'll quote it, but not link it. It's pretty obvious where the burden of proof lies. Kind of hard to prove you wrong, when I'm saying they didn't say that. The only thing that can prove that wrong is a link where they DID say that. I can't find it, but you say its true, only reasonable to assume you read it, why is it so hard to just link what you read? So how can I prove you wrong when I can't find it. Hmm maybe it doesn't exist? Nice little catch 22 you got there.

Chunkにより編集済み: 11/5/2022 6:21:07 PMEvery classes power is within their abilities... Invise... What everyone wants nerfed... Overshields and barricades and storm grenades they'll be nerfed soon enough ... Warlocks we're op because of their super and double dash for 3 years. They had their time in the sun. Shoot void and arc had their time and sadly stasis lock, which may have the best kit in pvp today is so slept on... all it needs is a bit of movement...Deal

No. Titans have their abilities focused around their armor and melee attacks. Fostering and aggressive, CQC play style in pvp. Hunters have their abilities focused on their weapons and evasion agility. Warlocks do their damage DIRECTLY with their abilities and so the knee-jerk complaint is that they “ruin the skill gap.”
