Won't happen cause they are actively re-selling us everything we paid for already. They are double or even triple dipping and milking their loyal playerbase to the maximum.
Remember buying D1 and getting eyasluna? Then buying D2 and buying D2 season of oppulence to get austringer (which is eyasluna)? Then they sunset said austringer. Then buying the 30th anniversary dungeon for actual eyasluna? And then buying season of the haunted to be able to obtain a non sunset austringer AGAIN??? That's what Bungie is. Scum.
If this game was entirely free to play from the start and even seasons were completely free, while their entire monetization would revolve purely around cosmetics, i would agree, they can delete and return whatever they want.
BUT we paid for every single DLC AND season that gets deleted and essentially robbed from us annualy. I don't know a single other dev who does that. Noone besides Bungie is THAT scummy. And everyone trying to defend it, lay off your rose tinted glasses you addict.
What Bungie does, should simply be forbidden by law.

Austringers model may be similar to eyasluna but it was both visually and mechanically different. Beyond that, even if the model was literally just eyasluna in opulence, the need to make graphical updates to the model due to engine, graphics, and lighthing changes wouldve taken quite a bit of effort. With 30th anniversary, yeah not much justification to give there. I personally liked it as the idea of a celebration event giving us iconic weapons was fun, but no real way for me to give a rebuttal against that. But for haunted, to get the unsunset austringer, you dont have to pay [i]a dime[/i]. Its free content. If you play on a fresh account with no dlc, you could go grind on the leviathan for one, [i]right now[/i].

Still trying to wrap my brain how people justify this business practice with any sense of reasonability. If EA's battlefront 2 can get blasted for bs business practices what makes bungie and destiny any better that people just actively close their eyes deny this is alright because bungie did it therefore immune to criticism shut up.
