I kinda have a theory Elsie “helped” Eris and The Drifter in this timeline to not turn out like the other timelines.
I think all three are working together and have been for longer than we realize.
I’ll go even further I think she was talking to The Drifter and Eris in D1.....

I mean all three showed up one after the other like Clark Kent Superman “Oh hey “little light”, “Guardian”, “planet killer” and pushed us to use light but most importantly DARKNESS and harness this gift ourselves.
