What is it with warlocks acting like they have a bad class? Stormcaller has a CRAZY melee, dawnblade is like the top 2-3 class in the game, voidwalker is autopilot and shadebinder is BROKEN. Titan has two OP classes right now, hunter sucks outside of invis crutchers.

Crazy melee is only good if it works. And you don't get shotgunned out of it. And if you're not 1v1ing. Dawnblade is very lacking in terms of build potential and doesn't compete with Gunslinger. (although it admittedly beats solar titan in PvP) Voidwalker is just lots of nerfed stuff to the point where the subclass is kind of white noise. Shadebinder is pretty good ngl.

The melee is a handheld fist of havoc in radius, you can’t really shotgun it, and it’s GREAT in 1s. Dawnblade is literally crazy, I don’t know how else to explain this to the forum .5s Voidwalker is dumb. Very very dumb. Melee that yanks and is impossible to miss, child of the old gods + supercharge nades. The class is auto pilot. Shadebinder is more than good, it’s hands down the strongest class right now. YOURE BAD AT YOURE OWN CLASS.

To be honest I'm mostly just bad in general. I'm pretty sure I don't have a positive KD. You definitely can shotgun it. I've seen it and done it, and it's not great in 1v1s since I don't think it can one shot without another person. It's also not a tactical move for a 1v1. Dawnblade maybe crazy, but only in specific instances. It's not generally crazy or Intuitively crazy. The melee on Voidwalker is a shell of what was. It's still good, but volatile isn't too useful due to its timer. You generally can't take advantage of it. Shadebinder is definitely not the strongest right now. I'll be the first to admit it's a super strong off meta play, but it's not the best. I would give the title of best to Gunslinger, Void Hunter, or Arc Titan. I never said I mainly player PvP. I enjoy it and know a lot of the science even if I don't quite have the skill to execute.

Some people made builds on Necrotic Grip, or Crown of Tempest I went even more basic, INTRINSIC STAT Value, from thier I added on mods/aspect/fragment with a combat loop synergy, and came up with a build that can change EXOTICS and still have the basics of the SAME BUILD but with Different effects from Healing, DoT, Melee Damage Buff, or other exotics. After experimenting I've discovered my favourite build -- Over this last week of experimenting on my Warlocks stars, mods and Exotics. Two most important areas of Buffs ARMOUR Mod Selection AND STATS Groupings. If your stats can't be manipulated to line up then you won't be able to FULLY UTILIZE, but you can still USE THE BUILD just won't be As fast ability regen/not as rapid recovery with out the Light Buff Armour mod syngery+Stat Groupings [b][i][u]a PvP build and information on how to Make PvE Equivalent Build[/u][/i][/b] [b]Source of Light Buffs[/b]: PvP (CwL) /Elementals Wells(PvE) [b]Rift[/b]: Healing [b]Melee[/b]: Chain lightning (faster charge rate AND JOLTS ENEMIES [b]Aspects[/b]: electrostatic Mind+Lightning Surge (Pretty basic) [b]Fragments[/b]: Feedback:incoming Melee damage buffs out going melee damage. Resistance:Buff Resistance when surrounded Spark of Ions: Jolted targets cause Ionic Trace (Double ionic traces). The last fragment can be interchanged based what you like Combat meditation works amazing for fast paced PvP. And if your sprinting and CANT FIND ANYONE FOR a MINUTE and 10 SECONDS?? Oh well double melee charge. You can avoid SOME SUPERS IN COMBAT, or my hatred is STASIS HUNTER BLIZZARD [b][i][u]MOVINF[/u][/i][/b]? I can now urge teleport through it whenever I SEE IT cause my hitboxes aren't there so it can't effect me much like any BLINK based move (HUNTER gambler Dodge allows you travel through stairs tornado and stand up as you get to the outer ring and you can use double dodge Exotic, or max your Resilence out and BOOOK IT AFTER THE DODGE roll) ooor Hunter Dodge Roll into a Arc Hunter Blink Job through a Tornado. Combat meditation can increase your rate of melee recovery meaning you can Blink Step, go from lightning surge to lightning surge taking your hitsboxes away for half a second as you Pseudo combat blink through gunfire (Don't try advancing striaght forwards but zigzag/ALTERNATE elevation you WILL GET SHOT DOWN) and works BEST when Charged with Light/Elemental Charge Rapid assualt into and out of cover and healing Rift. Using melee charge, slide/mini map corner peak, and proceed to dodge around corners on shotguners camping If you need to respond to a Titan mid melee charge, melee through them to behind (anime move) and then immediately melee slide charge back. Or a Another Lightning Surge, a Goldie gun blast if the user is a few feet away. (Through them AoE damage, and when they turn around rapid zigzag in another direct towards them to finish off) And NOVA BOMB you can get out of the range of Nova bomb using Lighting surge and rapid melee cooldown. (BUFF WARLOCK NOVA BTW) Use the fact you can ambush groups like a bomber to AoE chain enemy ShieldBurst and arc web killConfirm High Resilence is your best friend btw. It will allow you to tank shots and deliver melee spike damage though the scout rifle fire. NOW MY GOALS FOR THE BUILD Find better Gear to increase RECOVERY and Intellect without sacrifing my other stats Some of my gear is in the 100-105 total stats but it's also OLD GEAR from before SUNSET when we had gear drop with 60-70 as NORMAL (current 46-60 sucks -blam!-) This build is pretty versatile as pointed out in different ways You can swap out exotics cause the basics of the BUILD is in stat arrangement and ARMOUR mods. The Exotic allows me to flavor based apon the engagement at hand, any choice of melee, so far has worked amazing and changed how it translates into the world, but the basic of THE BUILD STAY THE SAME thought stats and armour mid manipulation, So far Exotic Gauntlets high DPS, rapid healing AoE spike DPS/Bomber capabilities, AoE spike DPS+DOT area control, rapid area movement AoE Spike DPSx2. I am still though a sucide bomber that's gonna get killed. WARLOCK SUCKS -blam!-, even if your skilled it's not hard to realize that Titans need the Arc OHK back,(AS A WARLOCK with a build that gives me Melees in 35 seconds, I have stolen the Titans arc punchy boi job, with 100strg, some other items (look at earlier post, spoiler part to read the build) Hunters need a buff to allow arc energy to chain on the ARC MELEE/Slide, if you hit 2+ people (specifically the Melee/Sliding Charge and they are close enough the Lightning chains it would allow Hunters to CONFIRM KILLS. Even a Fragment that allows Arc Energy to chain) sometimes to allow the Melee to Confirm kills on THE Arc Melee/Slide. I think the warlock arc Melee is a good standing point, now buff Titans to get back thier OHK (I see you under powered Titans; I want you to have a buff) And Hunters need something on melee/slide charge.

I stopped feeling bad about using cheese strats. Invis hunters with wall hacks doesn’t sound so bad when your up against lorenz, plug one, and La monarch users. I will say if anyone is using jotunn then smh but even then all the more reason to exploit the class abilities and weapons in order to be on par with other meta builds. To not use them would be like swimming against Olympian’s with weights and drag suits on.
