You have ONE OF THE BEST supers, and it's been buffed so much TRIPLE shot Shadowshot is a PANIC/SHUTDOWN SUPER. And because of how powerful it is already, People will punish you and go to shutdown your super before you can activate the second Burst of arrows. -- Anyone's response to Shadowshot is like seeing a Warlock in Chaos Reach or Bubble Boi Titan, people SHUTDOWN thier super before they can be allowed to get in a few kills. Why?? Rapid threat response and analysis. We rapid Analysis the problem, and respond by shutdown the super activition. Just like Chaos Reach, or A Titan about to activate Fist of Havoc. You shoot them till they die. -- Tether doesn't need a buff, people need to learn to use it better After all the other buffs Tether has gotten over the years it's already verging to much on a Panic/Shutdown super when it's supposed to be a Debuff/Utility Super. It's DPS come it's debuff, then your teammates SHOOT the target from under effect of the Tether ergo making more damage. It doesn't need more buffs. Not without Titans (mostly Titans now) and Warlocks receiving more love.

  • It never got a pvp buff ...only nerfs. It does 150 per arrow. So it needs 3 arrows to kill a super. And it has a slow activation time and doesnt supress on hit.

Which is entirely fair that it requires skill and not panic firing. To give a small history of the buffs They have buffed since Vanilla D2 Tether: *Activation speed *It Tether people as it flies past now (didn't use to before *It jerks your aim in a direction to stop people just firing line the Hunter -- The triple shot is less effective against fast moving targets. That's not a problem, that's just how it works Fast moving targets can dodge stuff Who knew

  • It always jerked your aim even in D1 and base D2. And it doesnt tether if it flies past someone...thats an obvious lie.

It was a much asked for request that by the DLC on mercury with Osiris it had been patched in Along with faster activition speed on Tether The thing with Tether is if used properly it's 7 Ish seconds of shutdown arrows, that you can space out and use dodge rolls and grenades to confirm kills My Techniques shoot one arrow into a group well using Orphious rig Exotic and then follow up with a grenade Dodge rolls backwards away from the group and double jump up and shoot a second arrow and then throw my melee smoke Ergo I tether groups, and then using my grenade I cause damage to go to EVERYONE (exotic) and using my tether melee/dodges I can spark a melee cooldown/energy on dodge near enemies and get up to 5-6 people I mayhem easily same with control. Tether is potent, and has such potential to shutdown/roam/panic super what is holding it back is your a LARGE PURPLE target IN THE SKY, everyone is shooting you before you can potentially follow up with a confirmation HIT. Tether is SUPER capable and THE ENEMY knows it so that's why we hit you hard, and hit you fast when you activate it Your a GLOWING PURPLE TARGET IN THE SKY

Unless they took that out with Void 3.0 I'm still having fun with solar and arc on my hunter. Haven't gotten to a void build yet but I remember many times Icarus dashing past an arrow and for a partial second still being tethered as it buries in the wall behind me, land out of range of the arrow and then double tap the hunter with Melees.

  • It never tethered on fly by. It’s still lacking in pvp even with void 3.0. The tether activation is still mid and can get you killed if you panic pop against another super.
