I have a 0% success rate shutting down supers nowadays. They’re all speedy with so many ways to get around the map, that firing a tether at a roaming super means they’re going to dash away before it triggers despite the fact that they have already been tagged by it.
Sentinels can cast bubble before it activates even if hit directly.
I can fire it at a group of targets, get 6 tracking markers and one of them will leap out of it and throw a counter super.
I thought we were getting better tracking and activation, but as players get faster tether has been getting worse and worse and worse despite already being extremely bad.

I feel like Deadshot should be like Ward of Dawn and Well of Radiance. Hunter shoots an arrow at the ground, anybody caught in it as an enemy gets tethered while allies get bonuses to their stats ie Heart of The Pack.

9 通の返信Tether needs to supress enemies for a while after they exit it same as the grenade.

Jayにより編集済み: 10/2/2022 2:51:59 AM3 Shot can shut most Supers down. It has a nice effect called suppression is they stay in it long enough. You just need to plan the shot. Also collapsed a bubble with a few group shots after my super. So idk?

Its not designed to be used as a shut down super, they are supposed to be traps. The triple shot can be used both offensively if you can land your shots or defensively with a much smaller radius than the regular tether. If you just plain suck then just use the spectral blades, those things are still meta. I honestly don’t know why people don’t use the blades more.
