-blam!- people want literally everything handed to them on a silver plater lmao.
Day 1 isn’t for everyone, I didn’t even complete day 1. I don’t have the time to dedicate to it. And ya know what? That’s okay lmao.
But y’all want everything so dumbed down that it’s not challenging or rewarding in the least bit

My team was good I've played with them and they can handle everything in destiny but this day1 raid. We spent 15 hrs most of that time was at warpriest. I'm not asking to be given stuff. I'm asking for a chance. I'd still put in that much time if I knew there was a chance my time could get thru it. The best we could get was warpriests 80% and that was error free and everyone maxed out dps. Even using aeon. This encounter was just so extreme I've never played anything insane. It wasn't even hard because of mechanics or adds. It was hard because the amount of time and damage u had to do and relying on heavy drops. U literally had to have not one missed shot from everyone and perfect rng with heavy for everyone. Plus couldn't not waste one second after killing a knight and transferring dps phase. It was border line not fair. I love challenges and I've been playing destiny since d1 beta. So no I don't want ppl given handouts but I'm asking for a chance at something that's possible for a team like mine. There was just no way it was happening unless I had 5 other God like players on my team but I don't. I had 4 sweats and 2 cauals which can handle gms and master raids no problem.

Day 1 raids need less rng. Especially challenge mode. Litterally the teams who beat warpreist challenge and placed top 100 all got perfect knight rng. While my team always got right knight to left knight which loses a whole damage phase.

Personally I don't care much for old raids day 1 sequels, and I agree much with this statement, even if you're a cracked team its called contest for a reason, you have all the time after to play an easier mode

100% This. I don’t bother with day1s (especially brand new raids) because I don’t want to spend hours and hours on it. I’m fine not getting day 1. I haven’t even bothered to go through VOW yet just because none of the loot interests me 😂 I wanted the Vex so ran VOG 51 times til it dropped and haven’t touched it since lol
