So what's gonna happen when you turn on this core feature and then forget to turn it off when a new expansion drops and you start wondering why you aren't leveling up?
I think we all know how that will go.
Besides, you speak a lot about your game not being interrupted but your game is constantly interrupted by all sorts of things. Even legendaries, which serve little to no purpose after a period of time too. How often are you leaving unwanted legendary items in your inventory?
You aren't. You take the time to dismantle those items too. If you take time to do legendary items you can take the time to do rare items too.

I'm sorry but you're probably the only person who goes into an expansion with full slots and full postmaster then. Plus, every blue drop you get on a new expansion is usually something you equip straight away and once you get something higher you replace it. Never seen anyone hoarding blues lol

Scratchにより編集済み: 8/15/2022 12:54:03 PM1) Auto Dismantle Blues would apply once you hit pinnacle cap. Just as greens automatically stop dropping once they are completely useless to you, when you have ADB on blues will auto dismantle once they are completely useless to you. If you do have a use for blues after hitting pin cap turn it off No problem there 2) Once hitting pin cap every blue is useless, but every legendary has the potential of being useful. Don't pretend they're the same There is a huge difference and you know it.

So what exactly, outside of the possibility of infusing the random legendary you dont want to max power, is the difference between getting a random blue drop you dont want and dismantling it versus a legendary armor with 51 stat you dont want or a gun with a -blam!- roll.
-
I beg to differ on that. My own anecdotal evidence suggests that I get infinitely more umbral engrams and powerfuls than I do blues. Many of my clan mates are the same. They're quite literally drowning in legendary shards as a result. Some of them have gained well over 12,000 of them just this season alone. It's not as big of a difference as you think.

And that blue COULD have been a legendary. But it isn't. You're missing the point. Dont deal in what-if's in your argument. What-if's have no place. You deal with what is and isn't. A blue gets dismantled instantly. Most legendary items get dismantled instantly. Even god rolls get dismantled if you already have a god roll of the weapon in question. Dismantling legendary items is just as tedious as dismantling blue items. Some one has yet to answer how mass dismantling your legendary items from your horded umbral engrams or your horded powerful engrams is any different from getting a blue and dismantling it. There is zero difference. It does not matter what the items could have become. All that matters is what they are currently done with NOW. If nobody can give me a good answer as to how it differentiates then my point is proven ten fold. Dismantling legendary items that are unwanted is no more tedious than dismantling unwanted blues yet for some reason legendary items are the exception and blues are not.

This is you grasping at straws for an argument. After your first blue drop gets auto-dismantled, you'll toggle it back off. Minor inconvenience for a huge QoL change. It's happens to me in almost every other game I play and that one low quality drop forever lost has never slowed my progress, ever.
