Why I as a pve player prefer sbmm is because I don’t want to get better at pvp, I see red on my radar, I run toward it, and I engage. Switching my entire loadout to do a few pvp matches is pointless. I don’t play pvp much, almost never, but when I do play I’d rather play against people of my skill, otherwise it is just a chore.
Just my opinion, which doesn’t count for much.

I understand Red - I am the same way with PvE - I don't have all the OP PvE guns, nor do I want to have to change out my mods all the time to kill teleporting Champions. Because of this fact, and my lack of PvE skill, can I get easier GM strikes, with less or no champions, so I can have fun doing GM's?
Because of this fact, and my lack of PvE skill, can I get easier GM strikes, with less or no champions, so I can have fun doing GM's?
Well yes they are called Strikes, and then Nightfalls of various difficulties. Working your way up to GM. Can you please show us where the PVP analogy to this is? Where is the "lower difficulty" PVP matchmaking and how do I turn it on? Yeah that's what I thought.

I don't play PvE much, almost never - so doing strikes and nightfalls to work up to GM's is a chore. But I want the GM loot, so can I not just get easier GM matches to obtain the same outcome? **called the nonflawless pool**
-
Sure you can. Some GMs are much easier than others. Inverted Spire for instance which is due after reset. Probably one of the easiest GMs to start with (along with Arms Dealer, Warden, Terminus and Lake of Shadows). Once you've conqueror, you can then keep your GM options open and use them on the week that has a weapon you may want...

And if you thought your sweat outreach program was going to work here and engender any kind of good will or mutual understanding? LOL well yeah, good going on that front! You're blowing it with every absurd post like this you make.

Oh trust me, I didn't think the responses were going to be positive - I've read these forums long enough to understand that if you go against the grain you get savaged pretty hard. I don't find your responses back absurd or dismissive and I respect your opinion, even if we don't see eye-to-eye

Necrogenにより編集済み: 8/2/2022 1:01:30 PMWhy should Bungie flood the player base with players who don't care about the game mode in particular? I'd rather the game be filled with fans who care and commit to game modes thus improving the overall experience. I don't care whether I win or lose, I just want to see players actually be good at something. Have you ever played a fighting game and get your butt whipped so hard you can't even get mad about it? That's how it should feel. Office nonsense where you find a guy crouching in the corner being a lamo with a shotgun cuz he can't hit his shots any other way. Don't need players like that in any game. These kind of players either need to get with the program and get better or they should just not play PVP.
-
Why should Bungie flood the player base with players who don't care about the game mode in particular?.
Because it will inflate the player base, therefor making pvp more viable, for them. Maybe it would inspire them to make new maps? Who knows.
-
We dont need to inflate the playerbase with players who dont care about pvp. How are you not seeing this? You are being intentionally dimwitted. Look at the current state and tell me its working. They are catering to bad players right noe.
-
Open your mind to reality. Bungie wants to make money, not only make pvp players happy. So more people, good or bad, who play pvp, gives them a reason to inject money into this mode. If you have it your way there will never be new maps, because there are not enough people playing the mode. Is this easy enough for you to understand?
-
No but really? You don’t understand that more clients is equal to more money? If pvp is a restaurant, and it’s only half full at supper time, then you want to find more customers, whatever it takes. How much more simple can it be? But no, Mr. entitled pvp player only wants people who love pvp to play. Nobody else allowed. Well, if you get your wish, and none of us ever play pvp again, pvp will just stay the same, nothing new, and you’ll all keep complaining no new maps , boo hoo. Keep crying baby. You are very dense. Wake up!

Necrogenにより編集済み: 8/2/2022 3:54:51 PMOh my God... I hate talking to people in this forum. You're telling me that having a more diverse audience it's to having more money in the system right? Yeah? In 7 years tell me has PVP improved? Their aim was to cater to a wide variety of players since day one and you're talking still as if it's yet to happen. This is the definition of insanity. Of course more people mean more money in the system. The quality of player however drops because if you attract more players who do not wish to engage in PvP, the overall experience is diminished. Bungie should not cater to every variety of player. They need to cater to a specific audience. This is why their PVP mode is always in shambles. You cannot be the Jack of all trades master of none. You are just like every jackwagon here. You don't have the solution to your own issue. Are the problem. Y'all need to step to the side and leave the PVP Hopper to people who actually care about the game mode. First response to all this was I don't care about pvp. Good you don't need to. Don't have an opinion. Do not engage in the mode if you don't care about it.
-
Their have been numerous players who came up with good ideas for pvp but players like yourself disillusion those ideas because they don't benefit players like you with easy cannon fodder.
Except wrong. You're misrepresenting where I stand and what I want so try again.

Na your demanding players get better at pvp and play your way and most don't give a -blam!-. They jump in either for quests or bounties then leave and that's fine. See bungie pandered to players like yourself and look where it got pvp into a -blam!- storm. Bungie should cater to all players not just the small group.

See bungie pandered to players like yourself and look where it got pvp into a -blam!- storm. Bungie should cater to all players not just the small group.
You're still misepresenting what I'm saying. I am not telling people to play my way. I am telling players that if you're going to play PVP then learn the system. It's not my way. It is the way. PVP is in shambles because they cater to the lionshare of the player base. This particular kind of player does not do anything more than fill holes. They look for incentives where they should not be any and they don't leave their skill level and improve. This player base gives Bungie false positives. They should not cater to a wider audience and instead they should create their own dedicated player base and build from there. Games are created with an intention, a direction. Bungie has little integrity when it comes to doing what they need to get done which is why they can never double down on something. That's their fault.

I’m engaging in a conversation, giving my opinion. Isn’t this a free country, am I not allowed to my opinion? I’m not name calling, not insulting, like you. I’m giving a reason why THEY are giving us sbmm. I don’t play pvp unless my clan wants me too. But even if I don’t play, I can see why they would make control sbmm. Do I agree? I don’t really care. But I’m bored at work, it’s slow today, so I take a few minutes to say my opinion on the subject. Is that ok with you?
