I legit got pin balled around the arena by one Phalanx, I somehow survived but that didn't last long. Idk if it was worse than me being a tennis ball by two taken phalanxes in the Nightfall however.
I also don't know if that's the plural word for phalanx but who cares.

Yup, I know that feeling. If it helps, you can completely cancel out of that by trying to melee one of them back if you're fast enough on the draw. They hit you, but if you are in the melee animation when being knocked back, it'll nullify the knockback itself. Not the damage, but at least you're not getting flung. Doesn't work against most physics kills though since you're usually traveling too fast to even react, and sometimes it just fails regardless, so results may vary. >_<
