Titan main here who's spec'd into Resilience. I've built three different builds across void, cryo, and now solar. Each are incredibly durable, with the idea being having the ability to tank against god himself. This works alright, and especially so after the LONG needed PvE Res buff. They're not exactly meta, but it's fun to play.
The problem I consistently run into is the physics engine. It doesn't matter what your health, overshields, or damage reduction is in this game, as pretty much anything can simply instantly kill you using physics. Can we please nerf the physics damage? It's been this way for forever, and I'm sick and tired of being at full health with full overshields and 70%+ damage reduction just to die instantly because a Phalanx bonked me against a tiny ledge next to my ankle. It basically translates to my builds being near-worthless since a large number of enemies can simply kill me instantly at more or less random.
I'm not saying we need to remove physics damage. But can we either cap it at, say, 80% of your health maximum in one hit or add a mod(say, a 6-drain Class Item mod or something) that similarly caps it? I just want to not get one-shot all the time at random like this. I have nearly 1500 hours on Steam alone, and that's not even counting all the time pre-steam since I've been playing since Red War. I can't count the number of times I've been cheapshot by the physics engine this WEEK, let alone overall. It really cheapens the experience when we're supposed to be the incredibly hard to kill Titan and all it takes is a Phalanx, an Ogre, a Incendior, etc... to instantly kill us regardless of regen, health, shields, overshields, or damage reduction.

1 返信I would be up for that,wouldn't mind if res or such capped the max HP damage a single instance of physics could do (So say at 1-9 it is 100%,and it goes down to 80% to 75% at 100 or possibly mobility)

1 返信I legit got pin balled around the arena by one Phalanx, I somehow survived but that didn't last long. Idk if it was worse than me being a tennis ball by two taken phalanxes in the Nightfall however. I also don't know if that's the plural word for phalanx but who cares.

8 通の返信I have mentioned this before on this forum and I think that fall and wall damage should be removed until it is implemented more properly and more like your idea. The damage is very inconstant, I’d rather the enemies be more challenging than the game relying on fall/wall damage physics to take us down. If they end up fixing it cool but if they can’t then they should remove it due to inconsistency and maybe it would give the game more space. The less things the game has to register the less bugs and more space there should be.
