Hunter: precision, fast draw, weapon and aim focused abilities.
Warlock: heal, fly, be accurate while flying

Dude hunters only have one boost to weapons. Handling and reload. Everything else is the same as the other classes. Burn and explode. The main build I’ve been running is throw knife for a damage boost and dodge for a damage boost. The options are just super generic. Gunslinger doesn’t feel like “the lone wolf who lives for the perfect shot” anymore

Love the new arms for proximity knives. With my build, I’d I play them right I’ll always have a knife and be buffed as long as theres enemies. If I miss with it, I’ll have it recharged right about when it detonates on its timer. If I miss and an enemy trips it, I can dodge, get my melee back, get full health (from seasonal artifact mind you), throw the knife at them, get empowered, have the knife ignite and kill them and be fully charged on my abilities. Took a bit of build crafting but dang, it clean up everything nicely. Definitely not a build for everyone though. I’m still trying to get good with it

Warlocks being able to fly and shoot is not a build. That’s the same thing we’ve been playing with on the old subclass tree for years. It takes literally no effort to slot an aspect. Not a build. You even said healing for warlocks but then why are titans actually better at healing than warlocks are? Hunters get a handling bonus but the only accuracy bonus they get is for golden gun. Which they’re not even going to use anymore because blade barrage is just better. So what are you talking about?

It’s not about being cheesy. Blade barrage is factually the best single target damage super in the game right now. Even though you said Titans would be focused on damage. Granted you said you didn’t know much about the subclass but again my point still stands. Why is each other subclass better at doing the things you said would be associated with any single one?

I agree that the subclasses all feel great in pvp but this game isn’t just the crucible. Im if I look at at void or stasis I have individual builds for pve and pvp. I can even make multiple builds for either, each focusing on doing something like cc, debuffs, or damage. With Solar I slot the same stuff for both because they’re just the best options with no room to build

They take some identity of one class, and put it partly back via fragments and give those to every class making they even more samey. And ability spam is just dull and boring and they all play exactly the same. Oh god forbid I forgot loreley titan which is a walking well of radiance without doing anything for it, and then we have starfire protocoll fusion nade spam. Yeah that "build" also has weapon spam, spam on an enemy while standing in your rift (no need to kill stuff) and then you can spam nades again XD That is not builcrafting, that is dumbing down the game. CwL was buildcrafting, albeit most people just crutched on protective light because it was way too strong. Warmind cell had buildcrafting, but bungie ruined it by making explosions the most viable "build" Elemental wells on the other hand is just there to make ability spam even easier.
