You paying for an ongoing service.
You don't look at Netflix and say, [i]"I paid you your $7.99 last month. Stop squeezing me for more money in order to watch your content." [/i]
Providing continuous service, updates and new content for this game costs money, so Bungie has to charge for their work in order to MAKE money.

Your analogy is not accurate. A more accurate analogy would be if my Netflix subscription always offered access to all their content -- as far as I knew -- but one day I open Netflix and find out there are some movies I have to pay separate fees to watch. Do you see what I'm saying now?
