I'm very annoyed at you guys, Bungie. I just paid $20 the other day for a season pass, and I naturally thought that fee would give me access to whatever new stuff was on tap for this season. (Thus: "season pass.") But it turns out that if I'd like to play the new dungeon, I've got to pay another $20.
There's an expression that describes what you're doing here: nickel-and-diming. Unsurprisingly, many of us don't appreciate being subjected to this.
I bought the game. I own four expansions. I buy your season passes, 30th anniversary, etc. Seriously: that's enough. Please knock it off.

4 通の返信You didn't buy a product. You paying for an ongoing service. You don't look at Netflix and say, "I paid you your $7.99 last month. Stop squeezing me for more money in order to watch your content." Providing continuous service, updates and new content for this game costs money, so Bungie has to charge for their work in order to MAKE money. That's how life works.

I almost felt in that scam , I have bought only the WC and after realizing that is same scenario I have seen the the WC deluxe edition has 50% discount for those who bought the WC and i made the upgrade but after seeing what they are doing with this garbage game I realized that isn't worth 40 euros extra !

Couple of points for people who are misreading/misunderstanding/mischaracterizing what I wrote, or just kind of missing the point. - $20 spent on something that didn't cover everything I thought is not the focus of my ire, per se. If I had paid the $20 and correctly understood exactly what I had paid for at that time, I'd still be pissed. - My take here is not an unfamiliar, strange, unreasonable or controversial one. It's a pattern that many people have apparently been bringing to the attention of this community for longer than I've been involved. - It's not about "paying vs. not paying" or "supporting vs. not supporting developers". When I buy something, I don't want to be hit with a "if you want this, it's an incremental add-on, and we'll have to charge you extra." (Thus, "nickel-and-dime.") I'd like Bungie to quit it with the incremental fees for game content, and just set a price and let me buy it or not. - If I have to sift through reams of text to find the passages where someone explains what is and is not covered when I'm buying something, I'll go talk to my insurance agent. I don't want to have to do that to play a freaking video game.

6 通の返信Perhaps you should learn to read. No where in the season pass purchase page did it say the dungeons were included.

10 通の返信there's an expression for people like you as well. know your product prior to purchase. it's been public knowledge since last year dungeons would be separate. the deluxe edition covered the DLC, seasons for the year, and dungeons. you chose to purchase things separately, which leads you to mistakenly feel you've been nickel and dimed due to your failure of knowing the product you purchased.

8 通の返信The Season Pass is $10. You paid $20 for the Season Pass + 10 Season Pass ranks: You should have just purchased the Deluxe Edition from the start and you wouldn’t be having any issues right now.

This is the piece meal blueprint they started with 30th anniversary. This will be the new normal. If you don’t like it then the only way to really let them know is walk away. Stop spending your money , if enough people do they will have to change their business model. Personally I feel that once a particular piece of content is bought , it should be available until the next iteration of the game is released at minimum. Don’t give me the drive space nonsense either , people can install on externals , even better…. Design the game where we can just install the content we’d like to play. We’re missing what? 3 planets , 3 expansion story campaigns , launch campaign multiple raids , pvp maps and such. Let me install the stuff I liked playing or ignore the stuff I don’t like. Game has become a huge money grab , and that’s fine I’ll continue with my new approach , buy and play major content , pass on the rest.

Naw brah lol
