Nah. The Ghost (sometimes called just "Ghost" to emphasize the point) is an actual set character in the story, just like Zavala or Ikora. Similarly (like in Narnia's [i]The Horse and His Boy[/i]) the Ghost doesn't [i]belong[/i] to you. He's a sentient being as well. Therefore, being able to customize him destroys the set character Bungie has created for him.

I actually really like this. Well written, sometimes people forget that ghosts are complex characters and can make their own decisions. I’m no lore buff but I have seen a few byf videos of ghosts who turn against their guardians like fynch or Gilgamesh.

Dude how much do you think it costed to have Peter Dinklage as ghost lol 😂 Nathan Drake is incredible but I don’t think he’s making as much as Mr. Dinklage was. Also bungie fired and killed off Cayde because his voice actor wanted too much.

Only 2 VAs and it was just a recast from Dinklebot after year 1 of D1. Though I wouldn’t necessarily care if they added a second voice option, it still wouldn’t make sense because Ghost is an established character. Just because there was one recasting doesn’t make the point invalid.
