Ghost Voice
I feel there shouldn’t only be one voice for ghost. I think when you start the game you get 2 “Ghost Voice Mod” one female and one male it’s not fair to have just the masculine voice there should be a feminine voice too.

Our Guardian didn't say a single word for years because it was too resource heavy on bungie to voice them. From TTK up to Forsaken, iirc. No way are they going to make unique voices and personalities for Ghost. Ghost is a character, not a customizable pet. He's going to die soon anyway. I imagine we'll get an actual, unvoiced companion similar to Elizabeth's darkfish by the end of TFS.

4 通の返信I just want an optional personality... I commented the other week. Why have they made it canon that the ghosts are morons? In vanilla d1, ghost was voiced by Peter Dinklage, resulting in him being called Dinklebot. At that time there was a solemn heaviness to his voice, a tiredness... and a gentleness without it crossing into foolishness. He showed fear without being cowardly, showed anger without fury, curiosity without ignorance. Nolan brings a completely different animal and it shows a distinct change of direction. Now ghosts have gone from solemn but dutiful, to... a failed football coach who uses terms like "neon nerds" and star struck loser who wants to play with the big kids.

Similarly (like in Narnia's [i]The Horse and His Boy[/i]) the Ghost doesn't [i]belong[/i] to you. He's a sentient being as well. Therefore, being able to customize him destroys the set character Bungie has created for him.

1 返信I don't see how it's unfair? Ghost is a male character, just like Saladin, or zavala. It would be unfair if our character was forced gender but the voice is based on your choosing. So that's a pretty dumb thing to say is "unfair"

1 返信parallelishにより編集済み: 4/6/2022 3:17:53 PM1. bungie would never pay for another voice actor to do all the same lines when they could just pay one. 2. current ghost is not masculine 3. there are bigger fish to fry also ghost should be more like TARS from Interstellar imo. more of a robotic AI and less like a real person, but still able to have a sense of humor.

5 通の返信Phrase your argument differently. "fair" and "equal" don't really exist. And they're bad arguments for getting what you want. I agree that we should have options, but also, they already do that with our guardian. Hiring out a bunch of different voice actors for yet another character would be insane.
