The worst part about the grind
Needing to get variable (23/5etc) numbers of the same (red box) weapon to access the [i]pattern[/i]
Why? The guns are identical (and it’s not like it’s to extract the perks/stats like Div2)
Being given Redbox weapons to tune that aren’t even in the crafting (Krait, Bottom Dollar, IB weapons etc) - no doubt one day they’ll be squeezed in & I’ll need to go find 5 of each again to “earn a pattern”
Then looking into the crafting
More grind on top for truly poor weapons
Adding on top of this shite cake is the 6 elements that need extracting (low cap), ascendant alloys (that were broken & Bungie admitted to fudging the creation of crafting)
There must be [i]more tiers[/i] of grind to craft a single weapon than there are PvP maps in the game!
The balance isn’t there at all
The GM/Raid scene is built for the streamers/5%(thats the percentage of people in the entire playerbase that actually Raid) & those that will defend Bungie till death (no matter what they do)
GM’s remember were hyped by LS as watchable content
😄 that thought itself is laughable!
Reskinned weapon galore, bloated perk pools & atrocious RNG drop rates
To get a gilded seal that lasts 3 months & then rinse/repeat
It’s been 5 years now with the same stale strikes & absolute lack of care/improvement for PvP & Gambit (I would happily drop £60-100 on a DLC that gave 15-20 new strikes/NF/loot & brought back [b]all[/b] the [i]DCV[/i] D2 PvP/Gambit maps)
That’s what 95% of the playerbase care about, the QoL & enjoyment - [b]not[/b] Bungie’s obsession with XP/power gated “end game”
