TLW is very easy to use, and is too effective at ranges IMO. It should deal less flinch by quite a bit if it stays the way it is. One of the most irritating things is trying to primary a TLW crutch, they flinch very hard and kill fast. All of that with shot missing forgiveness because of the RPM.
I don't know. On console, I've had zero issues dealing with it, regardless of what is in my hand at the moment.
And I've yet to lose on 1v1 with it when we both have it out. Seems like a "TLW crutch" is just someone with barebones experience with it. And I guess that can be annoying, but I'd hardly call it OP.
I would definitely go as far as to call it OP. I don’t make claims about weapons or abilities until trying them a few times myself. TLW is very easy to pick up and is way too forgiving. I’d love to see an AA nerf at the very least.
And yet in arguably the most diverse sandbox we have ever had, it hasn't broken top ten in Trials once. Not even close.
And it has 2% usage in comp and 1% in QP. Less than Messenger in both areas.
Powerful? Sure. [i]Very[/i] powerful in its optimal range? No doubt. But I think if something was "definitely OP" as you say, we'd at least see a bigger jump in those numbers.
It only has 8 in the mag, severe damage falloff, and low handling. The thing just isn't as versatile as many other primaries.
