In the forever meta of hand canons can auto rifles plz get a buff.. doesn’t matter which one you use the best outcome of any engagement using an auto against any other primary other than scouts is a trade.. not to mention it’s useless to use an auto against a smg which is infuriating when the auto should be better than the smg at medium range and do more damage because the whole point of the smg is for CQB buuuuuuut multimac and shayura’s outclasses any auto other than suros……….

On the high end, shayuras can reach like what? 27m with a perfect roll And has the same optimal ttk as a 600 auto. Meanwhile scathelock can reach 34m pretty easy. So Wym SMGs beat them at range lol Like yea obviously peek shot weapons will be on top in destiny where the movement allows you to fly at Mach 9 from cover to cover. But cmon, lol don’t pretend autos are complete trash because they aren’t

For the [i]first time in the history of D2 Trials[/i], the weapon usage every weekend is very dependent on the map. Heck. D1 didn't even have many sandboxes like that, if any. Widow's Court? High sniper and pulse usage. No shotguns in top ten weapons at all. Distant Shore and Bannerfall? Messenger had more kills than any other weapon. We're also seeing good fusions outpace shotguns, while shotguns are still dominant on maps like Cauldron. Hand cannons still have the most primary kills on most maps, but a high part of that is the sheer amount of options they have as well as the fact instantaneous burst damage will just always be best in a movement based shooter. In fact, I think most of the issues in the sandbox stem from a lack of options. There's what, 4 good pulse rifles compared to at least 7 good hand cannons? We definitely need more options in other archetypes. As for autos, they require sustained damage. In a movement based shooter, those things are not going to outperform burst damage weapons unless they're absolutely busted, or their competition is too weak. Sorry to break it to you man, but that's what it is. Autos certainly should be fun and usable for sixes, and I'd say they are for the most part. We may see more auto use if there was an auto that was the "Palindrome" of autos. We have Scathelock, but world drop farming is brutal. Edit: If a buff is needed, I'm down for a bodyshot TTK buff. Leave the optimal where it's at. There's little reason why something requires you to trace opponents, some of which can move at Mach 1 like Dawnblade, expects you to get nothing but headshots. Doesn't really make sense. It makes the weapons less approachable for casual players.

62 通の返信I’d like to point out that every player who thinks that HCs (easily the highest skill gap primary) are broken and an issue, and want auto buffs, are low skill players. ARS, are no skill weapons. The primary meta is fine right now, and you can use many different kinds of guns.

4 通の返信The meta currently is hands down one of the most diverse this game has ever had. Every crucible match, quickplay or competitive, has players using pulse rifles, SMGs, hand cannons, scout rifles, and bows. Special weapons are still mostly dominated by shotguns, but there are still lots of players using snipers and fusion rifles. I do get killed by auto rifles sometimes, but it's more rare. Auto rifle meta though was hands down the most boring time in Destiny. ARs are pull trigger first, aim later weapons. I'm perfectly happy without them being relevant in the meta. I'd much rather have bungie buff scouts than ARs.

I agree, Auto rifles are getting shafted a bit. I think the reason they habent touched on them is because they're trying not make the 600rpm auto rifle problem an all rpm auto rifle problem if that makes any sense. It's technically the only fully automatic wrapon tyoe we have that diesnt require a perk to make it that way and fully automatic in a world of semi automatic can be problematic (that rhymed unintentionally) as we've seen from real world history.

Autos are pretty good though. The only thing that kinda oppresses them are the rapid fire pulses (everything else rightfully should beat them in their respective contexts). You can't have these things be stronger because of how easy they are to use already, especially with their better perks like dynamic sway and eye of the storm. Its a low accuracy weapon. Auto rifles being better means a lower skill ceiling overall, whether movement or accuracy based (you are more penalised in ttk for missing a hand cannon or pulse than an auto. SMGs are limited by range so they don't really apply here) Note: Console perspective

They can compete, same with pretty much all pulse types, most primaries are good rn. This is one of the best sandboxes ever in Destiny where weapons are concerned

WormChiにより編集済み: 11/11/2021 6:45:52 PMI can’t agree. Every auto meta we’ve ever had outside of Doctrine of Passing has been horrid. Suros meta? Nope. 450 meta. Gross. 600 meta meta / Hardlight arguably the worst meta in the games’ 7 year history. They’re viable enough now that you can use them if you really want to. In fact every type of weapon is currently viable in one of the best sandboxes we’ve ever had. If you want an automatic weapon just use an smg. Auto meta just becomes laining and team firing. The only thing that could be worst is a scout meta where it would be the same thing except players team firing crouched in the back of the map.
