it wasnt a simple damage boost. in its original state it was a 50% damage increase which also affected body shot damage which made the body shot damage a 98% damage increase. once it got nerfed it went down to 21% damage increase for both head and bodyshots. the ease of use for recluse is still high and the fact you can still get it to proc on any kill is good. i can see why people are scared from what is was like, i had 100k PVE kills with mine, it was still pretty good after the nerf. 750's feel great and still think that they are still the better option.
