Apparently I am considered a tryhard because I engage in Masters and GM content. Once you play enough hard games, you find its not that much harder. I bring off meta weapons all the time while balancing work and a love life.
Its very possible for weekend warriors to engage in Masters content. We all are casuals in a sense. What you consider as "tryhards" just have more skill.

The only thing that disturbs me is when I see people in the tower season rank 750, 805, 920 etc.. I wouldn't even call them tryhards or sweats, maybe they just love the game that much. I have an admin in my clan that just genuinely enjoys the gameplay and is on everyday. But bruh, that's way too much destiny for me. The thought alone of all those inflated artifact levels going away at the end of the season does not make me want to grind that hard. Maybe when witch queen comes out, but for now I feel like it's gonna be the same old dog with the same old tricks.

No I mean the ones that just say “no time for fun” I just wanted to say to people who take this game way too seriously to relax and enjoy the game for the music sights and all that, and not force people to play a certain way

Really comes down to getting content done efficiently. As players have mentioned in the comments, that makes the difference between a 40 minute raid or a 3 hour raid with countless quitters, eventually disbanding. Its one thing to force players into a certain loadout, but suggesting players to switch their loadout so that it makes sense for the encounter would be appreciated. Not everyone has Anarchy or Witherhoard, but please dont bring a sword to Atheon or GOS boss. Just bring a proper loadout for the boss fight and quit expecting others to carry.

I may be a casual try hard but when I start an activity I want to see it through to the end. Don’t like the feeling of being dependent on somebody.

I won’t blame people for that, I ment to the players that don’t let people play without them, I don’t have a problem with try hards or causals, they play how they want to play, but just don’t force them out just cause they don’t have a certain weapon, and for the sword part, that’s on the player, if it’s not that simple to notice it won’t work, then we’ll, that their fault
