If you use it on a single target, like a sniper or major or something, it'll now take 3.5 seconds to reload. Ammo was never an issue for lion. Every primary ammo brick refilled your entire reserves, and every kill dropped a primary ammo brick.

You didn’t really read the post did you? They’re saying that immediately after firing if you hit reload you get a jump start on reloading. Now you have to wait for the launched round to hit enemies (plural). For pve this is a major nerf, it removes the skill gap from the weapon and kills any potential for it to be useful in higher end content.
