Hello. Bungie takes reports of suspected cheating very seriously. If you suspect someone is cheating, the best course of action is to use the in-game report tool and report the suspected player. Additionally, Bungie has also provided a report tool online which can be accessed with the following link: [url]https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13967#contact[/url]
Please be sure to read through all of Bungie’s reporting guidelines before issuing a report.

This is a prime example of Bungie blowing off this cheating issue as simply reporting a blatent cheater doesnt mean anything when they dont get banned. The fact that you have a team of people to overview any report that comes in and not a decent anti cheat program to instantly ban those running third party programs to cheat, shows just how pathetic and uninterested Bungie is in fixing the cheater issue. When I say "blatent" cheater, I mean someone who is clearly watching ppl through walls on the other side of the map and instantly sniping them the split second they poke out from a corner... again on the other side of the map. The amount of times I have spawned and peeked around a corner just to instantly die from a sniper that is on the direct other side of the map and has the smallest line of sight possible is bullshit. I will then report that player after the 3rd or 4th time they have done it not after the 1st. For bungie to reply with this bullshit answer... I mean what can I say... Its bullshit and Bungie clearly doesn't care. "IF" Bungie cared about the state of PvP and the cheaters within, they would remove PvP content from the F2P version of the game. It is the simplest answer to the issue. It would stop the cheaters dead in their tracks as they wouldn't be able to just make another steam account and redownload the game and continue to cheat after a ban. I mean common sense is not something Bungie currently pride themselves on. Oh wait this isnt even a reply from Bungie... just a dude with a mentor tag.... GG

1. Attitude gets you nowhere. 2. Mentors are second only to Bungie staff. 3. If you look Bungie did read your post and edited it. They also marked the mentors reply as the official response from them. 4. Every day we see people kicking off about being banned on this forum page so why don't you tell them that nothing is been done. 5. Bungie has already covered this in past TWaB newsletters and Twitter posts and will not release more information which can be used by the cheat creators and users to bypass current or future systems. 6. Cheat programs evolve with new programs coming out all the time. To identify these programs and their users Bungie relies on player reports. 7. As the mentor said be careful to read the report form. Every day we see people crying wolf 🐺 because of what they thought was a person cheating.
