A bot detected the cheat tool, flagged your account, a bungie security team member reviewed the cause, confirmed the rule was broken and placed the ban. Per your own post cheating tools were running while d2 was, and the family members had altered files, you didn't say which but just running while d2 is bannable , so for all intents and purposes your account is guilty. While you personally may not have ever intended to cheat, the family members that you allowed on your account clearly did. It is extremely unfortunate that it happened,. Bungie is in a never ending war on cheating and have to take a stand and ban those they can while hunting the others.
