First of all, hello everybody and I have to apologize in advance for the long text that coming. I'm writing here because I didn't find any other place to tell my side of story.
Long story short: last week I've had some neighbours' and relatives' children visiting, PC was turned on, I let them to play some games, unattended, they messed around with some parameters they tried to alter the game executable with and some cheating tools they downloaded form internet, started the game alongside that tools, obviously VAC did its job, closes the game and send the report for illegal activity, but no harm was done, no one played the game with actively cheats on. It was just an unfinished attempt, didn't cross my mind that they'll do something wrong. I know the game files can't be tampered or altered directly, in order to do this some advanced programming skills (which I don't posses) alongside dedicated programs being required, but those kids obviously didn't knew all that. By the way, there are a lot of active cheaters in-game, I saw them sometimes, but I'm not affected by them because I don't regularly play PvP in this game (even if is required for some quest, I'd rather abandon that specific quest), in fact, I don't play PvP in any online title that have this game mode.
I did my own research after that, when I saw my in-game account was banned, and found out what happened. I am aware of this is looks bad and sounds stupid, but we all know that kids are doing stupid things all the time. It is what it is.
OK, I said, let's open a ticket in support section, explain what happened and solve the situation. And since then (it's almost 4 days) I'm waiting, and waiting, and waiting, no response, just an automated reply from the server and that's all, nothing else. Ok, I'm not the only one who have issues, but this company have no one responsible to receive and analyze this tickets? This is disrespect for customers, lack of consideration and a huge "we don't give a ...." for customer's issues.
Now, in my line of work if I don't reply to an email or don't answer to a client or partner within a few hours or, at most, next day, I'll be butt-kicked fired in the very same day. It's about common sense, after all. But this company seems to follow another policy regarding customer support and don't care about their own customers. Moreover, to apply a sanction, especially a severe one, you have to prove the intention, in the first place. Then, you have to prove actively cheating in-game. Because accidents can happen. In this case none of the above actually happened. I guess they have an automated system to sort this kind of tickets and, most likely, they end up in the trash bin, due to VAC tag applied. They treat all of them as criminals, nobody check those tickets and nobody cares about them, this is how I see things from my perspective. Maybe here someone who can act like a grown up will see the case, perhaps will check that ticket and, eventually, could solve it. The Case ID is this: 79291.
In the end, I'm not looking for pity, I'm looking for some respect for a customer who spent some money and invested some time and resources for this game and who made an unintentionally mistake. I'm not such an idiot to throw out the window all hard work, days and nights dedicated for farming weapons and gear, preparing for the next season. I just want to make things right. That's all.

2 通の返信In this event, those family members should be paying for a new game for you since it’s their fault they modded on your system. But a lesson for the future is to not allow them to tamper with your system again.

4 通の返信You are way over thinking how the system works. Intent cannot be proven, the story you gave above could be the same said by someone who tried to cheat with an app that did not work. To remove human bias, their system is fairly binary. Was rule broken...yes/no. If a cheat was running while d2 was running it is a bannable offense. There is a post by cozmo that clarifies it as any restricted app running while d2 is running will result in a ban to prevent cheat makers from masking their apps

2 通の返信Hello there! The #Help forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans. However, there is a process in place for you to appeal your ban or restriction. If you have already appealed, you have done all that you can. Posting in the forums cannot assist you beyond linking you to the appeal and speculation. Bungie will typically respond only if more info is needed or if the ban/restriction is altered. [i]Please note that while every appeal is reviewed, as mentioned in the article, there is no guarantee for a response, nor is there a guarantee that your ban or restriction will be overturned.
